^^^Sam's POV:
"I know she is here!" Aunt Rachel's voice bounced through the room and carried to the hallway. "She use to go here, I've gotten letters demanding me to send her to you and now you have taken it into your own hands!" She screamed again.
"Why do you care so much for the girl?" the headmaster asked.
"She's like my daughter," Aunt Rachel says but more softly.
I took a deep breath and opened the door, Headmaster looked at me in surprise then anger but Aunt Rachel looked over joyed.
"What are you doing out? We chained you up!" Headmaster shouted.
I pulled my bobby pin out of my pocket and twirled it around my fingers, "Amateurs, didn't even check my hair or pockets."
Headmaster stands up furiously but in a flash Aunt Rachel is in front of me, "I will be taking her home now," she says strongly.
Home. Finally.
She grabs onto my wrist and holds onto me tightly as if she is scared I will be yanked away(which I highly doubt, Aunt Rachel could kick 10 attackers asses if it meant defending family).
"Her home is no where, she is not wanted. Her mother even ran away from her, getting herself killed in the process just to get away from her nuisance daughter," he spat. "The only place that will take her off of the worlds hands is Angel Academy."
"No. Sammie belongs with us, at Gallagher. I won't let you take her from me," Aunt Rachel snarled.
"She belonged to us first!" Headmaster shouted.
"But she is in the right place with us now!" Aunt Rachel shouts back.
"I don't belong to anyone! I belong nowhere! I choose where I want to be and Gallagher Academy is where I want to be!" I shout at Headmaster and take a step towards him.
His upper lip snarls and he narrows his eyes then takes a step towards me so we are 3 feet away. "You are not leaving," he hisses quietly.
I let out a groan, "I was really hoping that this wouldn't happen," I say and rub my nose with my fingers while looking down. I look up through my eyelashes and smirk at him, I bring my fist up to his face and hit him square in the nose. He stumbles back and instinctually brings his hand up to his nose, I kick my left leg out and hit him in the stomach testing out its strength. He flys back and his head connects with his desk knocking him out, I flex my leg and look back at Aunt Rachel, "Looks like I'm back to health."
---
The amount of time we spent getting home- 9 hours.
The amount of time I was asleep of those 9 hours- 4 and 33 minutes.
The amount of croissants Aunt Rachel wanted me to eat- 23.
The amount I really did eat and not hide in my hoodie pockets- 7.When we finally landed from our long flight it was Tuesday but we had to take extra precautionary measures and double backed twice before making it to the school so by then it was 5 am. I slowly trudged up the stairs after waving Aunt Rachel off, when I reached our room I clicked the door open as quietly as possible to not wake my roommates. Of course having spy roommates makes coming in unnoticed practically impossible, I was tackled to the floor by the four girls. They all squeezed me tightly but Liz -surprisingly- had the strongest grip on me as if she believed I would just disappear once again.
"What were you thinking! Going in without comms or backup is completely ludicrous!" Liz reprimanded me sharply.
"It was my problem, I could handle it," I respond.
"Obviously not! You were missing and we wouldn't have had a clue as to where you were if it weren't for you telling Cammie," Bex yelled and I knew she was mainly mad that I didn't take her with me.
"Guys, that wasn't a test or CovOp, that was real. They really drugged me," I pushed up my sleeve to show the needle hole, "they really shackled me," I move the white plaster Aunt Rachel had put on me on the plane to show the ligature bruising.
Liz gasps and takes a step back, Macey looks with wide eyes at my bruises but keeps her face blank, Cam and Bex both stand there showing nothing besides anger.
"I'm going to kill them!" Bex suddenly bellows.
A chorus of "I'll help" fills the room and I watch them all carefully. Finally I break, I collapse into Cam's arms and they all huddle around us to give me a group hug.
"I, I thought they were my friends. We use to be so close! Best friends! I can't believe they did this," I am mumbling at the end.
"They just wanted you back, you wouldn't go willingly so they took that into their own hands, we would've done the same thing," Cam whispers and we all laugh.
We are all silent for a moment before something frightening comes to my mind, "Did they plan this together?"
"What?" Liz asks and scrunches up her forehead.
"The almost kidnapping, then my kidnapping, it couldn't be a coincidence that this all happened at the same time, but I've never seen that ring symbol at Angel before so maybe they hired someone to spook us."
Cammie bites her lip and nods slightly, "There's a possibility, but I don't think they would do that in chance that they could be caught on film."
I nod and look to the floor, none of this made sense. Suddenly Macey claps, "I know we just had a very traumatic experience but the teachers won't let us off for that so I say Sammie goes and showers because she stinks," she winks playfully, "and the rest of us get ready for school."
We all nod in agreement and I get my clothes and take a long needed shower. When I'm out I feel much better and slip into my clothes, the girls are all ready and we head down to the cafeteria because breakfast should be starting soon. We sit down and once the teachers sit we start piling food on our plates, well they do, I sit with two biscuits and two pieces of bacon on my plate. The kidnapping moment seemed to make me loose my appetite as I slowly chew on my bacon I run my empty hand under the table and hear the slight sound of crinkled paper. I freeze my fingertips over it and slowly remove it from its tucked place under the bars of the table, I keep eating my bacon strip to keep from looking suspicious and look down at the piece of paper in my lap. The front was blank and if you didn't look closely you would think it all was blank but I could see the slight indentation of words telling me it was invisible ink. I place the letter in my pocket and finish my meal, I'm not sure what Aunt Rachel or the other teachers told my classmates but they aren't questioning me why I wasn't here so I'm going to just follow along.

Classes were long, I saw Madame Dabney give me a pity look one time so I know the teacher know most of the truth. I went back to my room to check the letter instead of going to the P&E barn with Macey, Cam, and Bex for training and I'm assuming Liz is in the library doing whatever she likes doing (probably sending some computer language to Jonas). I take out my notebook and place the letter under a sheet of paper and start rubbing the pencil lead over it. Once the entire paper is silver but words written were white because of the indentation of the letters. My eyes widen and I sputter out incoherent words, I slam my notebook shut and race the the library grabbing Liz and taking off towards the barn at top speed with Liz crying out for her papers. When we reach the barn Liz is panting and asking me questions but I scan the room coming up with only Bex, Cam, and Macey then slam the doors shut. They all look up at me in surprise and rush over, I plop on to the mat flooring of the barn and rip open my notebook to the page with the letter. They scan the page then look back up to me with wide eyes also, the paper reading:
Next time try to stay out of trouble long enough to heal first. Be safe Sweetheart.
