Chapter 18

 Seven's pov-

" Seriously, Reese, What're we doing here?" I asked as we crept into the abandoned chemistry lab across campus. We stopped using it after there was a chemical explosion. Most of the building was destroyed but parts of it stayed intact. Instead of fixing it, they decided to abandon the building and start from scratch. Most of the students come here to hook up.

" You'll see, just be quiet." she scolded me in a hushed tone. We climbed the old, creaky stairs. The wood on them was rotting, making it easy to fall through. It was dark and almost impossible to see where you were going. I was praying we wouldn't fall through the boards. It was almost three in the morning and Reese dragged me out of bed. She refuses to tell me where we're going but I know she's planning something.

She brought her cell phone with her, she never carries her phone with her. We're not supposed to have our phones on campus but most students find ways to sneak them in. The hardest part is keeping them hidden.

As we got to the top of the stairs I could hear someone moving around. Who the fuck is here? Reese stealthy moved across the boards, somehow managing not to make a sound. It's like she knew exactly which boards to avoid. I followed in her footsteps, avoiding the squeaking boards. By the time I caught up with her Reese was peering through a cracked door.

" Ungh, harder!" a voice squawked. I peered through the cracked door and saw Piper getting railed by Chase. Her skirt was pulled up around her waist and his pants were at his ankles. Her obscene moans flooded the room. I'm a little surprised, I thought she was a lesbian. I also think it's safe to say that Artemis doesn't know her girlfriend is currently cheating on her. Reese brought her phone up and snapped a picture of them fucking. Sneaky little thing she is.

Chase let out a loud grunt before he pulled out and they started getting dressed. " I can't believe you poured acid on her," he said in disbelief. Piper let out a chuckle, " She should've known better than to try and take what's mine. Did you see the way she was all over you during the lab? It was embarrassing. Now she knows not to fuck with me." Piper gloated.

I knew she did it on purpose. She's fucking insane. I looked down and saw Reese was recording the entire conversation. " She wasn't hitting on me." Chase said with a scoff. He wasn't wrong. I'm still surprised he's willingly arguing with Piper. Everyone knows he's desperate for a fuck and here he is, arguing with one of the only people that can provide him what he wants.

Piper rolled her eyes, " You're blind." she sneered. " You're delusional." he snapped back. Reese and I hastily made our way down the stairs when we saw them walking towards the door. We managed to sneak out of the building. We quickly ran to the side of the building and hid in the shadows. Moments later Chase and Piper came walking out of the building and split off in the direction of their dorms.

I let out a breath when they were out of sight. Reese and I stepped out of the shadows and started walking back to our dorm in silence. We were careful to be quiet, not wanting to take anyone. " No, I heard someone out here." Our heads snapped to the side and we saw one of the ground keepers striding towards us with a flashlight. " Shit." I whispered before taking her hand and breaking out in a sprint.

" Get back here!" he bellowed as he started chasing after us. I was surprised when Reese was having no trouble keeping up with me. I honestly don't know why I was surprised, of course she's faster than I am. She's better at everything than I am. She's absolutely extraordinary. Everything about her entices me. She's enchanting.

She suddenly sprinted ahead of me and leapt into the air. She jumped onto the wall, grabbing onto the vines. She smiled down at me and held out her hand. I took it without hesitating and she yanked me up. I don't know how she was able to hold onto the vines with her mangled hand but she seemed to be doing it with no trouble. We started climbing the vines, only looking down once. I saw the guards rush into the building. There was now a whole swarm of guards chasing after us.
