God the movie just came out and I already hate the fan base 😐

Let's start this off I guess, Most of yall who spend some time on the internet should already know where this Is going 🚶🏿‍♀️

I would like to say that I myself am NOT from any Latin origin. Mexican,Hispanic, Etc. So in no way am I trying to speak over Latin voices, I'm just going by what I understand and what I've heard people of Latin origin say so far.

Okay Let's starts off easy

CAMILO SIMPS.

Honestly this is a regular topic that I'm already used to talking about 🤦🏿‍♀️ THE SEXUALIZATION OF MINORS.

Fictional or not it is wrong. Yall are ignoring the fact that Camilo Is 15,HE'S 15 YEARS OLD. Stop sexualizing him.

And I don't wanna hear any of that "b-b-but I aged him up 🥺🥺" bullshit.

A minor character can only be aged up for sexual purposes when there's already a future version of them 😐

FOR EXAMPLE: if the character is already an adult, retelling the past, THEN THEY CAN BE AGED UP.

Yall mfs act like yall can't make a nice fic without making it sexual, And whats so funny to me is that most of yall be ultra ass at writing smut anyway 💀

Adding small things like kisses and flirting is fine. That's normal teenage couple shit, but writing about 14/15 year olds having sex is so fucking weird.

NOT EVERYTHING HAS TO BE SEXUAL. IF YOU CANT WRITE A GOOD FIC WITHOUT MAKING IT SEXUAL THEN YOU CANT WRITE.

Now for the important stuff.

ABUELA HATERS.

Honestly I would say I get it but I don't. I don't know you'll just gave your own personal issues and yall are taking out of abuela but yall need to chill.

She's a human being, she makes mistakes, yall are mad at her for applying so much pressure on her children, and of course that's bad but she understood why she was wrong by the end of the movie and was trying to better herself as a mother and a grandmother.

Do yall not understand how big of a step that was for her?? The movie is about generational, she broke her generational trauma within a second when she saw she was hurting her family, which is something some families take YEARS to work through.

That should tell yall how much she cares about her family and hie willing she is to change for them to be happy again.

She just let her emotions get the better of her and she lost sight of whay family really means, yall do that everyday so why do you hate her for it???

I've even seen some of yall making fun of her husband's death 😕 that's so fucking disrespectful.

Yall can say "don't bring race into it 😡😡" but this IS a racial movie, whether yall choose to ignore it or not

It's about the generational trauma and pressure applied on Latin families everyday.

And yall making fun of something that ACTUALLY happened in history is just disrespectful.

She literally watched her husband get brutally murdered by white colonizers, that's a historical thing that ACTUALLY happened in the past. Families split up, women abused and raped, Slavery, And murder, that's just history.

And I'm so happy Disney included that in this movie. It tells of true history and how horrible things were for Mexican and Hispanic families in the past. Things are still horrible for some of those families.

And yall are laughing at that??? Disgusting.

Last topic. It's short don't worry.

NO ONE is saying that you can't headcanon the characters as gay, and no one is saying that you can't see them as any sexuality you want.

People are just saying that you need to make sure that you're not losing sight of what the movie is ACTUALLY about

I'm sorry to say this but some of yall do get carried away when it comes to different sexualitys when it comes yo important media 😶

It could literally be a movie about teaching the horrors of slavery and yall would be like "Omg gay UwU ship 🥺🥺🥺" do yall not see how disrespectful that is???

Also stop headcaning Luisa as trans just cause she's strong. It's transphobic. I saw someone say that she's trans cause she looks like a man 😐. That's disgusting and transphobic.
