Okay so this one is short and I wanted to make it simply because I noticed that some people That I either follow or some people that follow me Have this word either in their name or in their bio so Lemme say this quickly 🚶🏿‍♀️

The word Weeb (short for weaboo) isnt a person that loves anime (as you all have been falsely lead to believe), it's a person thats OBSESSED with all things Japanese cultures to the point where they wanna be Japanese themselves, To the point where they want to be Asian.

If you don't see how this is bad then I honestly have no hope for you but I'll still explain.

Wanting to be another Culture/Race is not only disrespectful to YOUR culture/race, its also extremely offensive to the people of the culture/race that you're trying to be.

It makes it seem like you only see their culture as small things such as anime and manga, and not the struggles they've gone through to get to that point, and we all know Asian people have struggled A LOT.

I wanted to make this chapter cause I know that a lot of you simply don't know the true meaning and implications behind that words and simply think it's a person that watches anime. It's not.

Stop using that word to describe yourself.
