A kid around the age of 16 walked in. He had fluffy golden brown hair and blue eyes. I assumed he was Harley.
"Dude, why do you still have the mask on? They know who you are." He laughed, looking at Peter.
Peter pulled the mask off his head. He looked around the same age as Harley. He had curly brown hair and dark brown eyes. He was a few inches shorter than Harley.
"You guys can leave, I got this." Stark spoke.
I rolled my eyes and rested my elbows on my knees, letting my hands hang down in the space between.
Everyone left except for Stark, Harley, Loki, Barton, and Thor.
"Hey uhh, Robin Hood?" Stark started. I looked up to him. "Yeah, we're inside, you can take the hood off."
I rolled my eyes again and slid my hood down, leaving my mask on, however.
"You're a woman?!" He looked at me with an unbelieving look.
I gave him a bitch face and flipped him off.
Loki looked to me with an impressed and amused look. Thor was confused and Harley was smirking.
"How old are you, kid?" Barton asked.
No answer.
"Not one for talking I see." Stark stated.
Still no answer.
"Okay then. We'll come back later." He said before walking out of the room.
Thor and Harley followed him.
There was silence for a few minutes before Loki got up from where he was sitting and stepped closer to the glass.
"You can't speak, can you?" He asked.
I shook my head and gave him a 'congratulations you're not completely stupid' look which quickly turned into a bitch face.
"Do you know sign language?" Barton asked.
I ignored him and looked at my fingernails.
"Why'd you kill that man?" He asked.
I looked up at him and gave him a straight face before flipping him off as well. Loki chuckled. I looked over to him and smirked.
"We can help you." He responded.
"I don't need help." I signed.
"How old are you, kid?" He asked.
"Nineteen."
"19?" He asked.
I gave him an sarcastically enthusiastic thumbs up.
"You're telling me you're 19 and you're wanted for 36 murders in the past year?" He asked.
"Thirty seven." I proudly corrected.
"Why?"
No answer.
"Listen, kid. I understand that you don't trust us, but can you give us something?" He asked.
I went back to ignoring him and started playing with the red laces on my boots.
Barton sighed, seeing as he wasn't going to get anywhere with these questions. "I'll be back later. Loki, you good to watch her for a bit?"
Loki nodded and Barton walked out of the room. Loki pulled up a chair and sat down about a foot away from the glass. I just looked up and narrowed my eyes at him.
"You don't have to keep wearing that mask." He informed.
"I know." I signed.
"I have no idea what that means."
I pulled the mask down to where it was resting around my neck and shot him a glare.
"If you don't mind me asking, how come you can't speak?"
I ignored the question and went back to playing with the laces on my boots.
I wasn't going to tell someone I just met my entire life story and my motives for killing.
"Will you at least tell me your name?" He asked.
Another ignored question.
Once again, not telling someone I just met my entire life story. That is including my name. I was fine with my age being shared since it shows in my appearance. Everyone knows me as Vex and I would like to keep it that way until further notice.
"You hungry?" He asked.
Ignored.
I haven't ate in a while but I'd rather starve than eat that poisoned shit their gonna try to give me.
Loki stood up and walked out of the room, only to return a few minutes later with a tray of food and a bottle of water. He walked over to the cell door, I cautiously watched him as he walked.
"I'm opening the door. If you try and kill me, I'll stab you." He stated.
I clearly wasn't going anywhere.
He opened the door and slid the tray in before closing it, locking it and walking back over to his chair. He sat down and I glared at him.
"I'd rather you not die on my watch, so eat."
I stared at him then at the tray and back to him.
"If you're wondering if it's tainted, it's not." He informed.
I directed my gaze to the tray before looking to him, narrowing my eyes as I stood up and walked over to the tray. I grabbed the water and apple off the tray, leaving behind the sandwich and whatever else was on the tray.
I walked over to the glass and looked Loki directly in the eyes while opening the water. I smirked and tipped the water, pouring it all onto the ground in front of me.
I spun the apple around in my hand before sitting back down in my corner, pressing my back to the wall and throwing the apple up in the air. I caught it as it came down and threw it back up again.
After about five minutes of just Loki watching me toss the apple in the air and catch it, I got bored. I threw the apple across the room. It hit the wall and landed on the tray with a crash. Everything that was on the tray fell onto the ground.
"You know you're just making a mess in your cell right?" He asked. "You aren't upsetting anyone here by doing that."
I ignored him and felt my eyes grow heavy. I haven't slept in days, but I'm not sleeping in here. Especially where someone is constantly watching me and could at any point walk in and kill me or something. No thank you.
