Dad and I stand, suddenly the door opens and enters Mr Nazagi with Ivory her face bore a mug of annoyance and anger.
Ivory nudges him.
Mr Nazagi sighs and looks around.
"Listen Melodis, I'm sorry for being insensitive to yours and other situations, it was very out of order of me." He whispers.
Dad smiles and hugs me into his side.
"And?!" Ivory yells.
Mr Nazagi gulps and quickly spurts out. "And id like you to join us back downstairs... as friends."
Dad chuckles. "Ah seen as you asked so nicely... the day I thought Mitchell Nazagi would be asking me to join him for dinner..."
Dad walks over to him and they both share a face of temporary care. Ivory grabs Mr Nazagis arm and walks him out.
Dad looks behind him. "Care to join us?"
I nod and Dad walks out, looking around I see the photo frame and pick it.
'The hole left you in this family is very true and deep. I'll try my best if you'd allow me. Theodore Hudson.'
"Emaline!" Dad shouts, I place it down and run downstairs.
I hear a Christmas song playing. "Mistletoe and Wine."
I Renter the dining room and everyone looks at me. I sit and Dad is with Evelynn he holds her with a sorrowful expression.
Enid smiles at me and scoffs her food down her throat. Dad rejoins us. "Enid!"
He sighs.
A deep silence hangs like a veil of dread over the room, not a peep from anyone. Avery gulps and tenses her jaw.
"How about.. a glass for Theo?" She looks around and lands on Desmond.
Dad's eyes run low across the table in a deep thought, putting them up his eyes go to Evelynn. After some physical hesitation he takes his glass. "For Theo."
Everyone raises their glasses, Evelynn being the last one and raises it with her healthy hand.
"For his absence, we all wish he was here." Avery states her eyes puffy and red.
"Theo." Dads the first to say his name, like a ball was in his Throat he mumbles.
"Theo." Everyone says including myself.
"Dad..." Evelynn ends it.
"I think Theo would want us to have the best Christmas we can. So let's get festive. In memory." Shiro says.
Hums show all our agreement in his speech.
Mr Nazagi smiles. "How about secret Santa after we clean up here?"
Dad nods and smiles. "I think that's a good idea."

Everyone moves into the Living room after we finish eating, Avery, Me and Etty sit with a broken Evelynn.

Picking a plate up I take it too Avery whos putting them in the dishwasher. I turn and see Etty holding Evelynn.
My head goes back to Avery. "Will.. will she be okay?"
