The car speeds down the long road, in the distance the city of dreams and fortunes... Los Angeles.
"Do we have to have such depressing songs, Evelynn?" Etty sighs and puts her head back.
"Zip it! This song is perfect.. calming, don't you think, Emaline?" Evelynn looks back.
'Summer of 2041, Last Christmas id reunited with my long lost family and now they drag me around California... I can't help but smile these chuckle sisters...'
My mouth creeks into a smile and I nod. "Perfect."
Etty spins around. "You what?! Feel like I wanna get the rope out-"
*Thwop*
Evelynn's hand connects to Etty's cranium, she jumps and cries. "Ouch! What was that for?" She snarls.
"Just zip it while we get into the city, will ya.." Evelynn sighs.
She flicks her shades and steps on the gas...
We drive through the City, Spectacular. Palm trees on every street, the sun beams perfectly on my skin. Everyone walks around so independent so many styles and people. The scent of the salty sea and a fresh desert breeze blend into a Golden concoction.
The highways lap each other like the spaghetti junction. The streets are huge, buildings touch the cloudless skies.
"Ah this is the life! Look at all the guys!" Etty drools as she hangs out of the convertible.
Evelynn grabs her by her hair and pulls her in. "Will you hold back to the urge for a second Etty? Your sons at home and I doubt you want another!"
I lean forward. "Will dad be okay with Lupus?"
Etty shrugs and chuckles. "Yeah course!"

Enid rushes over." Because your so heavy handed ya big oaf! Hand him here! Babies are delicate and need a mother's touch."

"Where are we staying anyway?" Etty looks over to Evelynn.
I lean forward. "Yeah some important information you've kept from us, Evelynn."
"Relax. I know a place." She waves us off.
"I ain't going for any less than perfect! This is a vacation I don't want to be sharing a hostel with anyone I don't know." Etty crosses her arms.
"You don't get a choice, I mean Etty you work for Fall industries and your bank account big enough to buy a small country.. and yet you didn't and haven't paid anything for this vacation! So your choice and opinion is around five hundred miles back in New Alton." Evelynn states.
Etty scoffs.
"I'm a single mother, my money problems are nothing to do with you!" She scowls at her.
