It was the day of the expedition. Fee and Lola had gotten up without any problems and ready without tearing each others heads off, for the first time.
Now, everyone was in the meeting room talking about the game plan. The scouts were all sitting in the audience listening closely as Erwin explained what was going to happen in the formation. Levi, Lola, Fee and Avery all stood behind him to the side as we had all already discussed the plan with him.
"Levi's squad will be on the right side of wing of the formation, while Hanji's squad will be on the left side of the formation. My squad will be in the center and will only continue forward, unless plans change which I will give the signals to your squad leaders. Lola and Fee will be put up in the left front wing of the formation, guiding Hanji's squad. Avery will be in front of my squad and following where ever trouble is." Erwin said with determination in his voice as he pointed towards each squads position. Lola and Fee looked at each other before nodding.
Levi sighed and immediately became tense.
"Why the hell did he change the formation? Fee and Lola are suppose to be right front. Now I can't keep an eye on them." He thought as he wanted to punch Erwin right then and there.
"Is that clear?" Erwin asked as everyone nodded. Erwin excused himself as he walked over and was chatting with Avery and Hange.
Levi walked over towards Fee and Lola who were doing their daily bickering while everyone was getting situated on their horses.
"Don't die out there you two." He coldly spoke as Lola laughed.
"you don't either." He rolled his eyes as the two continued talking. Fee walked over towards Jean who ran up to her.
"Hey horseface!" She waved as he frowned.
"Do I really look like a horse?" He whined.
"yes." Armin and Eren said from behind him as Mikasa slapped Eren in the back. That caused Jean to blush ever so slightly causing Fee to frown at his reaction to the girl, but she quickly covered it up with a smile.
" I heard you're gonna be in front of Hanji's squad!" He beamed changing the topic as Fee gave him a nod.
"Yeah, are you on her squad?" Fee asked, he shook his head.
"I'm on duos with Armin."
"Well, make sure your ODM gear works. I'll see you afterwards." She smirked as he gave her a little wave goodbye. Fee walked back towards the two still chatting. She noticed how Levi's gaze on her was soft. He never smiled or had a soft expression showed on his face.
"Mans got a crush." she chuckled to herself as she interrupted the two.
"Hey lovebirds, we gotta get going." She rolled her eyes as Levi glared at Fee who gave him an innocent smile.
"Says the girl who's in love with Mr.horsefacewhowillneverlovemeback." Fee punched her in her right arm. Obviously Lola couldn't feel the pain as it was the side with the fake arm which caused her to laugh at the idiot move.
Levi gave the two girls a small wave goodbye as he walked over towards his squad.
As all of them moved out from inside the walls towards the outside, they all rode in their own directions in position. Levi and his squad moved through the trees on the right, coming to a stop as they waited for Erwin's commands. Hanji mimicked his squad's actions on the left. Fee and Lola stopped in front of Hanji's squad as everyone was in position waiting for Commander Erwin's command as they all surrounded him and his squad. Avery had already went ahead first under Erwins command to scout out the areas and to signal when clear. Levi kept his stare on the brunette girl laughing next to Fee, how he wished he could be next to her. Avery fired the green smoke signal and his team took off forward. Everyone started moving, remembering their part in the game plan. Fee and Lola rode on the horses through an abandoned town while Hanji's team followed shortly behind.
