"Kids got more cake than you." Fee snickered as Lola glared at her.
The two girls were sitting down in the mess hall next to Gon and Killua. Levi and Erwin had to attend a meeting with the other troupes while they were on babysitting duty. Avery was busy doing some paperwork. It didn't mind them much, they loved the two kids and felt a momma instinct wash over them.
"What are you two talking about?" Gon asked, tilting his head to the side.
"She's bullying me." Lola huffed as she sulked in her chair. Killua frowned as he thought the girl was actually sad. He ran over towards her and gave her a big hug as he glared at Fee.
"She's joking, we mess around with each other a lot." Fee reassured him as he nodded and hesitantly walked back to his seat.
As the four continued chatting, Jean walked over towards their table.
"Hey Fee!" Jean waved as she gave him a small smile. He took a seat down next to Gon and Killua as Killua looked at him with a weird look while Gon gave him a big grin.
"Hey horseface." Lola mumbled, causing all of us to laugh.
"Not funny midget." He pouted as he crossed his arms over his chest. Lola gave him an innocent smile as Killua stole some food off her plate.
"Hey! That was my food!" Lola yelled as he looked at her with a blank expression, holding the fork in his mouth.
"You're lucky that you're adorable." She smiled as he cutely laughed.
"So, how are these two munchkins?" Jean asked as he ruffled Gon's hair.
"The have a lot of energy." Fee spoke as Lola nodded aggressively. Jean chuckled as Gon started playing with his hair. Fee awed at the sight.
"So.. how's Mikasa and you." Lola smirked as she wiggled her eyebrows at Jean. Fee choked on her water as Jean looked at her in worry.
"Fee, are you okay?" Gon asked as Fee's heart warmed at his concern.
"I'm fine, just choked on some food." She choked out as she was trying to return back to normal. Lola laughed at what just happened.
As the two girls walked down the hall, they passed by Erwin's office where a bunch of yelling was coming from. The two girls looked at each other before letting themselves into the room. The sight in front of them made Fee yelp.
Chrollo had Levi pinned to the wall and all the other troupes were in defense form, ready to attack. Levi looked angry but he didn't fight back. Erwin was silent as Hisoka had a knife to his throat. Avery had a sword put to Hisoka's neck. Some girl that the two weren't familiar with was standing next to Avery, taking a bite of her bruschetta. As the door behind the girls closed, the troupes turned towards them.
"Fee, Lola, get out of here." Erwin choked out as blood sputtered through the cut. When Erwin called Fee's name, Chrollo darted his scarlet red eyes towards the girl.
"What in the name of hell is going on here?" Lola snapped as Feitan had lowered his sword from Lola's stomach.
"Well, these two got into a little argument.." Machi scratched the back of her head as she looked over at Chrollo and Levi. Everyone had lowered their weapons as Lola and Fee ran over towards Levi who was still being held by Chrollo.
"Let him go!" Lola yelled as Chrollo never took his gaze off of Fee. He looked pissed, but he slowly nodded as he let go of the collar on his shirt. Levi coughed a bit before regaining his cold heartless self.
"You okay?" She asked as Chrollo continued to glare at Levi. Levi nodded as he grabbed her arm and dragged her out of the office.
"Why did you come in?" He asked as he let go of her wrist.
"Fee and I heard screaming so we went to see what was going on." She mumbled as his gaze softened a bit.
"You could've gotten hurt.." He whispered as she looked shocked. Was he really worried for her?
"Well, Chooco my homie is pretty chill and shorty I don't think would let any of them harm Lola." Fee called out behind them as Lola laughed, she looked away so the blush wouldn't be very noticeable.
"I was talking about you, not Fee." His eyes darkened. tf.
"Well, she is your friend as well so maybe at least pretend you care for her?" Lola spat as he gave a confused look.
"I-"
"AVERY!" Two ecstatic voices yelled as Levi and the others turned to see Gon and Killua running down the hall towards Avery, who was standing next to Erwin and the mystery girl. She giggled as Killua ran into her arms. She lifted him up as he hugged the girl tightly with his small arms.
"Where were you?" Gon asked, his face looking worried as Erwin picked up the small child in his arms..
As the others walked out of the office, Chrollo and Feitan were walking the other way from them.
Lola and Fee walked up to Avery and Erwin as they conversed with the purple haired girl. Avery turned and gave them a small smile, the cut on her neck noticeable to Lola.
"Who's this?" Fee questioned, the girl giving her a wide grin.
"HI I'M KLAUDIA" She yelled, causing the two to flinch, "WANT SOME BRUSCHETTA?!" Avery snorted back a laugh as Killua gave a disgusted look at the girl.
Lola and Fee awkwardly joined in on the laugh. Lola could feel arms wrap around her waist, turning her attention to see Levi with his head placed on her shoulder, his warm breath tickling against her neck.
"Guys, this is Klaudia, she's an old friend of Hange and I." Avery started, nudging Klaudia who was having a staring contest with Gon.
"Nice to meet you, I'm Fee and this is Lola," Fee pointed to the flustered girl who couldn't even calm her own breathing down at the close proximity to Levi.
This was going to be a long day....
