04| AWKWARD INTRODUCTION

SATURDAY NIGHT | 9:45 PM

KY WAS ON HER WAY to Kam's apartment with her clubbing clothes in her car. She was determined to bring Kam out the house no matter what.

On her way, Ky had devised a plan that would for sure bring Kam out without a doubt. "Kam, buzz me in. I'm downstairs." Ky said struggling to hold up the three outfits she had in her hands.

She heard the buzz that allowed the elevator door to open up and take her to the 15th floor. Once she was out the elevator she walked swiftly to her best friend's apartment and opened the door.

"So..." Ky said walking towards Kam's room and laying down her outfits. "I have to do a hosting tonight for an endorsement deal I'm about to get aaand I want you to come with..." Ky stood in front of Kam giving her the puppy eyes.

Kam looked at Ky's face and squinted her eyes.

Ky clasped her hands together. With her puppy face and begging hands, Kam for sure had to agree to come.

"Fine." Kam said, lifting the suspense.

"Whew" Ky thought to herself. Kam was really hard to convince. "Thank you bestie!!!" Ky jumped up and hugged Kam.

"Yea, yea, whatever." Kam said taping Ky's shoulder while they both walked into her walk-in closet.

Both girls proceeded to get dressed and ready to go out to Revel Atlanta in a few hours.

After what seemed to be like hours, both girls were ready. They went downstairs to get inside their SUV and headed towards Revel.

As they pulled up to the night club entrance Kam noticed something fishy - the line was wrapped around the building.

She wanted to think none of it and gave it the benefit of the doubt but Ky was sneaky, so she was on her tipy-toes tonight.

The SUV door opened and out came Ky. She walked toward the entrance working the flashing cameras.

Damn, she was so good at looking good.

Once Ky was a few steps from the SUV Kam stepped out. She looked confident just like her best friend but she was really trying her hardest to stop her body from shaking uncontrollably.

Once both girls were inside the club they followed the security guards to Meech's VIP section.

Meech was looking around the club, as he always did, when he saw the one who had been messing with his mind since he saw her, walking towards his section.

She was probably the only girl that made him semi-nervous.

Ky looked at Meech and smiled from ear to ear as both girls entered his section. Kam stopped dead in her tracks as soon as she recognized Meech and his crew.

"I fucking knew it" she uttered as they came face to face with Meech.

"Hey" Meech spoke with his usual cool low tone voice. "Hiii" Ky said immediately going in for a hug.

Kam stood there awkwardly and regretting ever falling for Ky's lie.

"Hey" Meech directed his attention to Kam.
