Abuela Alma contemplates at her locket in her both hands. It was a picture of her husband. He had black hair with a white shirt. Her husband was smiling on sepia image. She was mourning for him.

"Oh Pedro...This is all my fault...I have been holding onto too tight for you...And my children...Especially the entire Family Madrigal...Your hijo...Bruno...He helped me open my eyes on this day...The miracle was saved because of him...Bruno...I don't know why he didn't foresee the future before meeting Mirabel..." Abuela Alma said heartbreakingly. She heard someone knocks on her wooden door six times. Abuela Alma looked out her doorway.

It was Bruno. He sighs melancholy. "If I did, the miracle would be dying. And our home, the casita, would break too." Bruno said.

She puts her locket away on her wooden nightstand. Abuela Alma sat on her bed. She patted her mattress on her left side for him twice.

He walked to his mother. Bruno sits on her bed next to her.

It was an awkward silence for a moment.

Abuela Alma feels sorry for herself. "So...you come to me...as it happens you know what I told you years ago...when I saw the worst of you...and now my nieta too...since after Mirabel's ceremony...I should have open my eyes sooner..." she muttered.

Bruno gazed at his mother's thought.

Abuela Alma stared down at the floor. "Your papa...Pedro...I was asking him every night for his help...After the casita was born..." she said quietly.

He blinks a couple times. Bruno was unsure that his mother became apologetic or was just blaming herself. He needed to know. Bruno listened.

Abuela Alma catch a sight of her hermano. "I finally get the clearer picture...Your papa sent me to Mirabel...Her Abuelo sent me to your sobrina..." she declared.

He sighed sorrowfully. "Mama...When I looked for Mirabel in her room...I-I just don't want to believe that she's gone..." Bruno said.

Abuela Alma got surprised. "What?" She said.

He tried to clarify with his awkward self. "I don't know how she disappeared..." Bruno added, realizing himself. "Unless Mirabel heard the argument back in the courtyard..." he mentioned.

Abuela Alma gasped. "She was gone, was she?" Abuela Alma said suddenly.

Bruno perceived Mirabel's disappearance. His sobrina ran off by herself in the forest. She was scared of her Abuela. He gets fearful for Mirabel getting lost there. Bruno was not going to give up on his sobrina yet.

He stared at his mother. Bruno expressed a concern. "Just moments ago, mama. Julieta begged me to foresee her daughter's whereabouts. I would have go to my tower for that." He added seriously. Bruno marks out his issue. "The problem of my tower is it would take eternity to get to my vision cave." He said sternly.

Abuela Alma nodded her head at her hijo. She became aware. "Get what you need from your room. It is best to do it outside of the casita." Abuela Alma suggested.

The sky gets dimmer when a sun was setting onto the mountain. The town got deserted. Everybody was seeking for Mirabel. No luck for any of them.

Agustin and Julieta seeks out for Mirabel on the east side of the casita.

Felix calls on Mirabel from the south side of the town. Dolores has her left hand over her left ear to listen. Nothing.
