"Aaarrghh!! This is a nightmare!!" Steve shouted after re-spawning for the almost 100th time.

He pounded his fists on his legs as he sat up. He stands up and gets off the bed only to see his mentor, Blake standing at the doorway. Steve panics and tries to get his sword from his Toolbar bracelet.

"Steve, don't worry. I'm not gonna kill you again. Honestly, it was getting boring. But that's not what you wanna hear so I'll tell you this. Your not gonna be able to progress this way. I don't blame you. I had a hard time when my mentor first began  training me." Blake said.

"So what are we going to do now?" Steve asked.

"Field training. Fighting me won't give you any experience that you can use for your ultimate goal."

"Oh. That sounds interesting. When do we start?"

"When you and I get 100 feet under ground and mine as much iron and coal as possible. And if we are lucky, we may find something valuable."

Blake reaches for something behind him and tosses a iron pickaxe towards Steve. Steve tried to act cool by catching it with one hand but it fumbled and fell onto his foot.

"Oww. Damn it..." Steve groaned and picked up the mining tool.

"Come on! It's noon and you still can't catch a damn thing. Stop messing around and let's go."

Steve's rigorous training started the morning he first woke up at Blake's home. It's noon now. Blake walks out of the building with Steve following quickly behind him. They travel through the village and stop at the entrance.

"Bobby!! Steven and I are going mining!" Blake shouted not 5 feet away at Bobby, the gaurd.

"You got it Mr. Noir." Bobby said waving.

Steve and Blake made their way through a long stretch of grasslands until they reached the mountains. The first one they approached had a gapping hole in it with touches leading into the mountain and down into the earth. There was a wooden chest, just like the one at the beach just inside the cave.

"We're here. You see that chest? Open it and take the torches that are inside it. With your Toolbar, you'll be carrying the weight. Torches, cobblestone, iron, coal. Everything. Don't worry, you won't feel an ounce of weight."

"That's fine. How long are we going to be mining?"

"Until your Toolbar is completely full. Or until that pickaxe of yours break."

"So all this mining is too help give me experience?"

"Partially. Also there is more then likely a few monsters in there you can kill. That's why your the only one with a sword. If there's any monsters that come up. It'll be your job to protect me. And I don't have a Toolbar like you. So if I die. I'm done. Gone."

"Wait. Why don't you have one?" Steve asked.

"Mine first. Ask questions later. Follow me. We still got a long ways to go."

Blake started into the Mine with Steve following. It took them an hour crossing dirty walls, dripping ceilings, old abandoned mine tunnels with rails rusty and dilapidated. Mine carts full of dirt and rock, derailed or smashed open. They then walk through an underground crevice. Looming over the edge, Steve could see a few monsters at the bottom of the abyss, staring back up at him. Soon enough, they enter a small hole which lead into a vast room were moonlight was shining through a small opening right in the middle.

"I thought you said it would take only an hour?" Stave said puzzled. "It's night outside."

"Well, it has been a long time since I've been down here with someone dragging me down."
