Morning's like this (Andrew's POV)

Andrew's POV
Waking up next to your best friend every day is a seventh wonder of the world in my opinion. Y/n and I have been together for the last year and everyday gets better and better. Like today, or more specifically this morning.

It's 9am on a Sunday morning. The sun is slowly making its way around our bedroom through lighting up the room. The atmosphere is so peaceful. I could hear the faint noises of cars driving by the window. Moving slightly under the sheets I prop myself up on my elbow my hand supporting my head and stare at the girl in front of me. Y/n laying asleep under the covers, her hair in a messy bun, pieces of hair going everywhere, her face looking so peaceful as she slowly inhaled and exhaled. She looked like a goddess and she was mine. I can't believe I got so lucky with her.

We met in the local coffee shop. She was a waitress and I would always go on to get my morning coffee. Over time it came more persistent and I managed to go exactly when she was working. And finally plucked up the courage to ask for her number, which she gave to me written on my cup. How cliche. After that we started talking non stop and also started going on dates. A couple of dates later I asked her to be my girlfriend and she said yes. To this day I still thank my lucky stars for her she is perfect. The way she smiles and laughs at the most silliest things. The way she puts others first and doesn't put herself first at all. The way she is so caring and loving to everyone they meet, the list could go on. While I was daydreaming I didn't notice y/n snuggle up more to me and burying her head in my neck. Smiling, I lay back down and wrap an arm around her and pull her closer, if that's even possible and start playing with the small pieces of hair that had fallen out the bun.

Laying there for a little while still playing with y/n's hair she begins to stir. In that moment I keep playing with her hair as she slowly wakes up. Stretching slowly she looks up at me and starts smiling.
"Good morning sunshine" she says in her sleepy voice
"Good morning to you too" I reply with the same enthusiasm
"How long have you been awake?" She asks moving slightly to get more comfortable
"Not too long" I reply
"Long enough to stare at me sleeping huh?" She giggled
"Never" I say sarcastically. Earning a small punch to the chest "hey" I said
"Creeper" she giggled whilst slowly trying to move away
"Hey, not to fast missy" I chuckled tightening my grip on her waist before she got away and pulling her back to me. "Now that wasn't very nice was it" I said trying to keep a straight face.
"You're the one staring at me sleeping Garfield" she replied laughing
"Oh you're in for it now y/l/n" I replied and within a second I grabbed her and pinned her to the bed and started tickling her. An eruption of laughs filled the room as I was tickling y/n. She tried to get away but I held her down and carried on tickling her. More laughs came out of her mouth as she was desperately trying to get away.
"Andrew stop..... I can't breathe" y/n said between laughs
"I'm not sure about that, you did call me by my last name. That's a pretty big offence" I smirked and continued to tickle her.
"Ok ok...... I surrender I'm sorry..... please stop baby" she said
"Only if you say I'm the best person in the whole wide world" I chuckled
"Ok. You are the best person in the whole wide world" she giggled "happy now?" She said. Nodding I stop tickling her and lean down to give her a kiss.
"I'm sorry too" I said and finally got off her and laid down beside her, y/n snuggling up next to me.
"It's still a bit stalker like" y/n giggled and quickly dashed out of bed and ran out the room
"Oh no you don't" I chuckled and got out of bed and chased after her.
These are the days I'm going to treasure the most
