2021 (A few days before the yacht explosion)
Director Seria was furious as she gazed at the files in front of her. She had lost three more agents in the span of six months after she was shot on her leg. To make matters worse, Agent Caden had applied for annual leaves so he can spend time with his girlfriend. She picked up the receiver and dialed a number.
"Agent Inky, can you and Agent Tim come into my office now?," asked Director Seria on the phone.
"Yes, ma'am.. Be there in a minute," replied Agent Inky from the end of the receiver.
Few minutes later, there was a knock at Director Seria's office's door and Agent Inky entered inside followed by Agent Tim. They took a seat in front of her desk and waited for her to speak as they realized that their boss was lost in thought.
"Director?," Agent Tim called her out of the trance.
Her eyes snapped back at the two agents in front of her. Her eyes looked directly at Agent Tim.
"I need you to investigate this for me," said Director Seria, handing him an old file.
Agent Tim opened it and both he and Agent Inky looked inside. There was a picture of Don Rory Cassano sitting at a table with her second in command in a cabaret.
"I thought she died years ago," said Agent Inky.
"I know, I was the one who pulled the trigger," said Director Seria, "But we never got the chance to get her body,".
"So you want to make sure that she's really dead?," asked Agent Tim.
But Director Seria's mind had flown again. Was Don Cassano really dead? She knows that the shot wound that she had was just a warning. A revenge warning. The last time she saw Don Cassano alive was during that mission, and she was in the arms of an Asian man. Could they be married and have children? But both of the children there were young. The girl looks barely sixteen. She paused there as her head started making calculations. The girl..
She must have been an adult by now. But she looks nothing like Don Cassano, not even the man who Director Seria still has no idea who he was. She had tried to find out and even sent people on the case but they still could not find the answer to the identity of the man and where did he come from. But they've seen the footage where the man and Don Cassano had fought side by side against the CIA and other law authorities so they both must have been allied for a long time.
"Director Sería?," Agent Inky called her this time.
"Try to find out about that man too," said Director Seria, pushing a picture that was hidden underneath Don Cassano's file, "And the two children that were in the premises during the night of the mission,".
"That's going to be hard," said Agent Tim, "The only people who had really seen them were you and Agent Torry, and after that, they just disappeared.''
"They disappeared with that man," said Agent Inky, "And nobody had seen them since,".
"Just try again, both of you," replied Director Seria, "Maybe this time, we'll find our luck,".

Jane knew she had to do it. She looked at the sleeping Caden while they were on the flight on that surprise vacation that Caden had set up for them. Her family had been alerted and so were her allies. Everything was in position. Few of them were even in the same flight with her in disguise and pretending not to know each other and in different IDs.
They arrived in Catania in the afternoon and Jane thought they were heading straight to the hotel, but she was wrong, Caden had instructed the guide to take them straight to a marina where a large yacht and few people were waiting for them.
