It was dark like he was consumed by a black hole that appeared out of nowhere. Everyone around was frozen as dry ice; cold like they were in the bottom of the cold ice in the south pole. Beasts that cannot be touched were everywhere creeping up in the shadows behind.
The seven including him were formed in a circle using their own magic elements defending themselves from the unknowing beasts in the shadows hidden. However, they cannot be stopped. As one gets taken down another rises again as they were infinite.
He throws another ball of fire at the beast. Gasping, he realized that the beast didn't get hurt in any sort of way by the massive energy. Instead, it consumed it down its body resulting in it going bigger and stronger. Looking up he saw that the beast was looking at him with pure anger.
The beast neared him at the speed of light. Consuming him to its body.
George gasped breathing heavily; his eyes shot open as he instantly looks around bringing up his hands to a fight. But there was nothing there but a clear and open space. There was only a lamp was in front of him that had a small candle that was lit on fire lighting the place up and two bags sat on the cold rock floor.
He goes back to reality sighing happily to know that he was back in the cave—or was always in the cave. But then he remembered the dream—a nightmare that he just had. The awful scary dark beasts were surrounding him with the others. The way how that beast that he fought consumed his magic and the way it grew angry eating him made shivers run down his spine as he felt goosebumps appear on his pale skin.
He sighed letting all the memory of the nightmare out of his mind as he noticed that there were long hands wrapped protectively around his waist. One of his eyebrows was raised as he looks up seeing Dream who was still sleeping—which he thought only because the mask was tilted.
Turning his gaze back down to his hands that were rested softly again on his lap he blushed to feel that tint of pink cover his cheeks. He tries not to feel embarrassed of himself because of him enjoying the dirty blond's presence with his arms wrapped around him.
As he felt the blush fade away from his cheeks; his heart no longer pounding at a fast pace unlike before he flinched when he heard a voice that was close to his ear. "Nightmare?" Dream spoke up filled with energy, it was like he woke up minutes ago before the brunet since George's eyes were heavy currently.
George hummed nodding turning his neck to his left focusing his glare at Dream's mask that was staring at him. "Yeah" his accented voice became deeper as usual when he woke up after a long nap. He felt Dream's hands slide from his hands to the ground leaving George untouched that the brunet missed for some reason. George shook his head slightly, "A scary one" he continued.
He felt Dream's mask hit his wavy deep dark brown hair that was stood still since there was no way wind but the unmoving atmosphere around them that was smell less. He stood up from looking around as he sees the sun's ray kissing the cave's floor from outside. The sound of the tree's leaves colliding because of the warm wind produced by the clouds from above.
George's eyes' shot open remembering--"Oh no" he spoke turning his gaze back at Dream in panic. "We need to get back to the Kingdom" he quickly said. He saw Dream's eyes shot open immediately standing up grabbing the two bags from the floor along with the lamp that he placed directly in George's bag.
Dream walked up to George with a fast pace, "Let's get going then" he said as he left the cave with a brunet following him from behind right after he had left. George grabbed the bag that was on Dream's hands in a hurry as he sped up his pace placing the bag over his two shoulders.
He looks around this world gasping at the marvelous view that the world had given him. The birds were flying along with the warm dancing breeze on the sky; gliding when they were about to depart to their destinations whether if it was for home or food. The small animals were clearer for George's eye now that it was now morning.
He found it amazing as he sees the small cute animals playing around biting each other innocently; their tails moving left to right in repeat. "This world is magnificent at day" he spoke staring in much more awe compared to when it was night.
Dream lifted an eyebrow turning his head to George, "Oh? How so?" he asked keeping his gaze at George who smiled softly as his hands were tapping against his pants constantly. "It's just more... peaceful," he said trailing off.
He sighs, "The world of elements has been through so much every once a century. In the fifth century, there was a dragon that escaped the end realm just because the endermans had accidentally built a portal. In the sixty-ninth century, there was a witch that wanted to take over the whole world! That world just never gets enough peace for once in five centuries" he said frowning quickening his pace slightly.
Dream took a hesitant breath out, "The universe moves on its own. No place will ever have peace; darkness will always come from the shadows hidden. Although a hero will always save the day. Do you think you'll still be able to stand here when those past terrors weren't stopped by a hero? Every journey has a hero George, that's what keeps us alive now standing in our feet" he spoke taking a large leap forward to keep up with the prince.
The prince smiled at the dirty blond's words as he looked straight again to where he was going. "Do you think... we can be heroes someday?" he questioned as he sees a small butterfly land on his fingers. He giggled as he brought his hands up to his eye level examining the butterfly seeing that it had a blue wing with multiple green dots at the middle.
Dream looked at George who was examining the butterfly's different features. "We?" he asked raising an eyebrow feeling himself smile at how happy the brunet was because of the butterfly landing on his fingers trusting the prince.
George's smile dropped down slightly as he let the butterfly flee out of his hands. He gazed back at Dream who was now glaring back at the forest path kicking the small rocks beneath their feet. "Like you said a journey always has a hero. However, it doesn't mean it can't be heroes" George spoke softly.
He heard the dirty blond giggle at his right. George furrowed his eyebrows confused on why Dream got happy at his words. "Wise words prince" he heard the dirty blond speak. George gasps placing his hand on his chest sarcastically offended.
"Do not call me prince you punk! That's it we're not friends anymore" He lowered his accent looking away from Dream secretly smiling as he gazes at the short and tall trees that had birds singing and tweeting whilst they are resting on the thick branches with nests sitting on them.
Dream felt his eyes widen at the words of the prince. He glance at the brunet who was smiling as he stares at the mother birds singing to their child who was well-rested on their nests. "We're.. friends?" he spoke startled yet surprised at the brunet's words of sarcasticness as he feels himself blush.
It was a good thing he had a mask on or else the prince would be laughing his British ass right now.
The brunet prince glared at Dream's emerald green eyes chuckling. "Yeah what else?" he asked as he continue glancing at his surroundings.
Dream sighed feeling himself grin even more at himself looking up in the sky filled with numerous or birds flying around and clouds made out of water vapor from the waters. Friends, he thought frowning as he looked back on where he was going shaking his head. Releasing that frown from his face.
Just friends, nothing more
