"We might wanna hurry." Mirabel said, watching her uncle place the sand around them in a circle.

"You can't hurry the future." He replied.

Oliver stood outside of the circle, watching silently. He was tense and uncomfortable. All he wanted to do was talk to his father for maybe five minutes but it got interrupted.

"What if I show you something worse? If I see something that you don’t like, you’re gonna be all, “Bruno makes bad things happen. Oh, he’s creepy and his vision killed my goldfish.”" The older male threw his arms up as if it proved his point.

"You don't make bad things happen, Papa." Oliver mumbled, turning away from the two.

Bruno hesitated, but nodded slowly.

It started slowly, not that Oliver could see as he opted out from being inside the dome. It grew quickly in size, the wind from it moving the plants all around. It was bright green.

Oliver could vaguely see the two inside, moving as if trying to catch up to something.

Oliver stared at the dome. They didn't seem to be able to catch what they were going after, wandering aimlessly in an attempt to get it.

With a loud sigh, the fox allowed his tails to appear as he reached out for the dome. Slowly a bit of purple joined the green in the swirling mess.

Not long after, the dome dropped and Bruno was holding a vision in front of a fuming Mirabel. He looks up and frowns, rolling his eyes as he tosses the vision.

The three left Antonio's room, Mirabel clearly upset about having to hug her sister. Bruno kept looking over at his son, though his glances were not reciprocated, more focused on the purple flame in his hands.

Mirabel, continued to mutter on, only pausing when Camilo walked by calling out for her.

"Go save the miracle, Mira." Oliver muttered before walking past her, Bruno giving the girl a quick smile before rushing after him.

"Oliver." He was ignored, leaving Bruno to panic as they got closer to the boys door. He wouldn't be able to find him if he went inside.

Quickly reaching out, Bruno grabbed his sons hand, forcing him to come to a stop. Bruno didn't flinch when the flames became brighter.

"For the first year Julieta told me you would come back. She would tell me at least once a week that you loved me and wouldn't leave me." Oliver refused to look at him but didn't remove his hand from his father's grasp.

"For the three years after that I argued with everyone, telling them you would come back. Isabela stopped being my friend because of it. The year after that I stopped going to your room. That was just the first five years before I had started giving up." Oliver laughed a sad broken laugh.

"And the worst part... The worst part was knowing you were still around because you gave me something on my birthday every year. Why did you leave?" He finally turned to look at his father, tears falling from his eyes.

"Why did you leave? You didn't even say goodbye or tell me if you were going to come back! You left your child, your 8-year-old son, alone..."

"I thought that if I left you, the family would treat you better, that they wouldn't compare you to me anymore and that they would look at you like you were family." Oliver thought over his words for a moment.

"Why did you go to the walls? You could have gone to my room." Bruno didn't answer, deciding it was best to just look away from the male.

"Were you ever planning on coming back?" He was again met with silence.
