"So we all failed the quiz?" He shoved it in his bag.

"Not all of us." He pointed at them.

"It was a little difficult."

Snatching the paper from them, he looked at the grade.

"No, 'What'd you get Y/n?' whatsoever." They scoffed.

"A fucking B?! I thought you failed!"

"I never said I did though." They took their paper back.

"Smartass."

"Are we still going to Karaoke?"

"Who is this 'we' you keep referring to?" Y/n crossed their arms.

"I have my own things to take care of."

"Are we, minus Y/n, still going to Karaoke?" He rephrased.

Speaking in agreement, with an exception of Y/n, they all left for their next class.
Before she could leave, a light tap on the shoulder prevented them.

"Can I talk to you in private?" Kiyoko spoke softly.

'Is there a correct answer for that?'

"If it's about yesterday, I'd prefer not to. But if it's that serious, I guess so." They avoided making eye contact.

The two walked around the corner. Y/n felt on edge about this, never in her life have they snuck around just to talk to someone, especially a girl.

"I couldn't sleep last night thinking about..you know."

"If you're expecting to get an explanation, you can say that."

"I know what I said, if someone found out something you've been hiding for years, wouldn't you be on edge too?"

Too nervous to speak, she just nodded in confirmation.

"Wait, did I sound serious?"
"It's really not a big deal, it was anxiety speaking is all." They got worried.

'She may look menacing, but they're so soft.'

"I'm not making this any better." They ran her hand down their face.

"Can I make it up to you somehow? It doesn't matter how, just anything for you not to hate or be afraid of me after yesterday."

"You don't have to make up anything, really. It's just an inconvenience."

"Fine then. If you won't take the offer, I'll do it anyway."

"It's happening. Plus, if I don't, I'll feel really guilty about it later." They cut her off.
