She woke up and as she looked around her she regained her memory. She found herself in a bed.
"Where am I" she whispered within herself.
// Someone enters the room.
"Oh your awake"
"Who are you?" she screamed to that anonymous person in anger. " And where am I?"
"Don't be enraged, you are here just because fate wanted you alive," the person continued, don't worry, your husband saved you and your son from extinction."
"Don't spit rubbish, my husband is dead, he committed suicide. I saw his body hanging of his room's fan."
The anonymous person chuckled a little and continued further "Let me take you to your husband, he can explain it to you far better than me."
He went to the door and held it open, asking her "After you ma'am."
She came out of the door and waited for him to lock it but it seemed as if it was not necessary at all as no sooner he closed the door the door got dissolved with the walls around it.
"How did this happen?" She asked with a sense of confusion on her face.
" Technology has not been the same since you have seen it. "
" Your words don't seem to sit well with me, firstly you told me my husband saved me from extinction even though I saw his dead body hanging and now you are telling me that Technology has not been the same" " What, what are you trying to imply that I was sleeping for a whole decade or what," She expressed herself.
"Don't be impatient ma'am, I'm sorry for my words, I will just request you to come with me," completing his words, the anonymous person started walking with bowed heads in a direction.
Arjun's mother followed him with her both hands on her waist. They passed through a big hall and stopped before a wall. There was nothing besides a small place for someones fingers.
As the person let his thumb to rest on that, a door evolved out of the wall. It opened automatically. The person pointed his hands towards the inside of the room and said "Your husband will be waiting for you"
// She enters the room.
"Excuse me?" Failing to discover anyone in the room, she tried ask it in the air.
"Come here, I was waiting for you" a voice came from the other room.
As she turned herself towards the direction of the voice she found a big muscular man on a bed. He had a well shaved beard, his hair falling on his eyebrows and he a very disrespectful smile on his face.
"Who are you?" She asked the man with a very much disturbed face.
"Consider me your master for today"
"I'm far afield from considering anyone my master, I can make you halucinate by kicking in your balls right now" she replied with anguish.
"Oh wow! You have a heart of a warrior, but will this warrior survive after being hit by the most bitter truth of her life"
"What truth?" She asked him with deaparity, as if nothing was more important to her than his upcoming words.
"Your husband was a part of a huge science mission where they had found a way to jump between different 'parallel universes,' somehow while testing that machine your husband came to us and stayed for a long time with us as he knew that he could go back whenever he wanted. While he was here he discovered something with our Scientists that the universe from where he came is in the verge of extinction. He had attachments with you and your son so he requested me to bring you here"
"But I made a deal with him that if he had to bring you two here he has to offer me you"
"This this enraged your husband, he approached me and held me by my throat, but my assistants came and came cured him. Well you know I don't like the people who don't respect me so I made a clone of your husband and disposed the previous one of the garbage disposal. The person you saw hanging was the clone of your husband, the original one may be inside an incinerator"
Arjun's mother couldn't take his words so she sat on the ground "You monster" She expressed.
"You may disrespect me but I don't care as of now you are all mine."
