The Journey For Love

Three Years have passed by

Arjun is now a grown up(mature) boy. One fine morning his father calls him and tells him to get ready, Arjun asked "but to where," father "you just get ready and meet me in the garage." Arjun put on his clothes and went downstairs to the garage, both of them got on the bike, he noticed that he was approaching the BMW Motorrad showroom. The more they where near the showroom the more his heart started beating. Father stopped outside the gate and asked him to get down. Arjun got down asking his father " Why here?" his father gave no response. They entered the place and his father ordered a BMW GSA 1250 adventure, Arjun looked at his father and asked "But Why?", this time his father replied him with a smile. The person in charge of the payment assured that the motorbike would be delivered after five days. Both of them came out and this time his father told him " As you have managed to get such a good marks in the JEE examination, it is a gift from him". Arjun got so excited that he hugged his father. His father told him that "these small hugs are all that parents want from their child, just know one thing, parents always scold you for your examinations, not to showoff to others but they just want their offspring to have a life of comfort, as they have witnessed the outcome of certain things."

As told the bike was delivered after five days, it was Arjun's dream motorbike, Arjun thanked his father once again and asked "Can I take this to Darjeeling?" Father "OK." This was another unexpected answer from his father but he didn't waste time and called his best friend Vartika, he asked her if she would be able to join him for a ride to the Himalayas, she told him "Give me a time on one day and I will assure you" The next day she assured him that she is going, Hearing that yes, Arjun asked her "But what have you told your parents, till I know uncle aunty they would have never said yes," Vartika "I also don't know but they just agreed to sent me with you." Arjun " Wow, God is blessing me too much these days", " So here is the plan we are leaving after three days as we have to return soon for our exams. Just carry ten thousand with yourself, we will be leaving in around 5 am so be ready, I will pick you up from your home". Varitika "alright I will be ready."

(the day of their journey has arrived)

Arjun got up and got ready for and went to the bike and waved a goodbye to his family. He reached near Vartika's apartment and called her, she got down after half an hour and got on the motorcycle, she also waved a goodbye to her parents, and their journey started.

Arjun told that they will not take any stop till Kolaghat. They reached Kolaghat and took a stop at the Shere Punjab Resturant. He told him that they will take a stop after every three hundred kms, Vartika gave him a nod. Both of them then got on the bike and their journey started again.

Now night has arrived and it was getting cold, Vartika asked Arjun to take a halt for the night at some hotel. Arjun "Yeah, I thought that it will be better if we could complete the road till Siliguri or NJP but I think it would not be safe for us".

Arjun took a stop at a nearby hotel, they booked their individual rooms and went inside to pass the night.

The next morning, both of them went to the hotel restaurant to have breakfast together. There Arjun warned her that they will not take any halt before their destination. She finished the conversation with a sweet alright. Finishing their breakfast both of them got on the motorcycle their journey started again.

They reached Siliguri, Arjun had warned Vartika before hand that the road before them would be at a greater angle from the horizontal.
The climb begun, the terrain changed, it was like mountains have a very special quality in them to make ordinary things look so beautiful. The climate changed as they were getting into a greater height, the vapour in the air was striking both of their cheeks as they went through them. It was making their cheeks wet. Their stress level came down with the ascent as mother nature was using her own medicines to cure them. They were rode through a lush green forest with wet cheeks which made their journey filled with the essence of love. As if the more they get close to the lap of nature the more they felt peace in their heart.

Finally they reached their pre booked hotel. They entered their individual rooms and crashed into their beds as it was the most hectic journey at a single shot.

In the evening, both of them went outside for a walk in the mall. Before returning to the hotel they went to a nearby cab station to book a cab for the next day at The Tiger Hill.
