Isabela Madrigal x GN Reader~ Date Time

Second Person POV.

The sun shines through your curtains as the day begins. Rousing you from your sleep is a rapid knocking at your door. You wipe the grogginess from your eyes and shuffle out of bed, quickly brushing your teeth before making your way to the door. Waiting for you when you crack open the door is Isabela and her bright smile that could put the sun to shame. Your girlfriend is wearing her signature purple dress and you can spot some pollen stains she's yet to clean, you think it makes her prettier though. She summons up some roses with her gift and holds them out to you while saying "Hola Mi Flor, I can see you forgot about our date." She says this in a teasing tone so you know she's not mad at you but you can't help but curse yourself inwardly nonetheless. "I'm sorry Mi Amor, come in and I'll quickly get ready" you open the door wider for her to enter the room and take the flowers from her grasp. Her gracefulness always seems to leave your heart stuttering. She enters the room and you dash away to find a vase for the flowers and then get ready for your date.

A few moments later you re enter the room Isabela was left in with the best dress/suit you could find, she lays on your couch waiting for you. She sees you approach and her eyes rake over your outfit for the day. "Well Mi Flor you've outdone yourself once again." Her comment makes heat rise to your cheeks. You gently grab her hand pulling her off the couch and out the door "I don't understand how you can say those things so freely, anyways what's our plan for today?" You can't help but question your girlfriends date idea for the day because she failed to tell you claiming it to be a "surprise". Isabela let's herself be dragged by you until she decides to take the lead herself, taking you by your arm instead. "If I told you what we're doing then it wouldn't be a surprise anymore now would it, Mi Flor?" You only huff in response to her teasing as she continues to drag you through town.

After a few minutes pass Isabela finally starting slowing down. Looking around you see a picnic blanket and basket surrounded by hundreds of colorful flowers. With the sun still shining it makes the flowers seemingly glow. The sight takes your breath away, turning to look at Isabela only to see her looking at you with the fondest expression she can make. "I always love your reaction to my creations" she says while still smiling fondly at you. Once again you can feel a blush rise to your face as you stutter out a response "I-I just... it makes me loose all thought every time I see your wonderful flowers." This time it's her turn to blush "thank you Mi Flor, now let's get this date started!"

The rest of the evening all the way till the sun sets is spent with the both of you smiling and making playful comments towards each other. Sometimes you can't help but wonder just how you got so lucky.
