Tom's pov

I was currently catching up all my Deatheaters on our new alliance with Katherine Pierce and letting them know fo the pregnancyof my wife, Adalind Schade. Just as I was about to finish the meeting Katherine came into the room, walking as if she were a queen. "Hello Deatheaters. I'm Katherine." She said while smirking at them all and they all nodded their heads at her as a greeting.

"You may all leave." I said and they quickly left the room, clearly intimidated with Katherine and I both in the room. "What is it that you need?" I asked her, watching as she sat in the seat closest to me.

"I am here to meet your wife. I'm sure that she will want to know of our alliance. She has a right to know." Katherine stated while observing the room around her.

I nodded my head in a agreement. "Come. I will show you to her and I's bedroom." I ked Katherine to the bedroom and saw that Adalind and her things were gone.

"Well, where is she?" Katherine said while looking around the almost empty room.

"She isn't here." I said with gritted teeth. I quickly went to Malfoy. He was one of Adalind's good friends. "Where is she!" I shouted at him. I knew she couldn't escape without help.

"Where is who?" Malfoy said looking honestly confused.

Katherine sped up to Malfoy, gripped his neck and looked deep into his eyes. "Where is Adalind?" Katherine said sternly.

"I don't know. All I know is that she asked me for help to get her out of here and said it was an emergency." Malfoy answered making my blood boil.

"What would make her leave!" I yelled in frustration. I went back into out bedroom and saw a letter on my desk, it said it was from Adalind so I opened it and began to read.

Tom,
I know how difficult this is for you but I had to leave. It was the only way to protect myself and my children. I am doing what I have to as a mother and your wife. I know that you will not ever believe this but I love you. I'm sorry.

Once I finished reading the words faded and left one sentence left.

I have to protect you.

I crumpled up the letter and grabbed a chair then threw it at the wall. "This cannot happen!"
