Tom's Little Monster

Chapter 17

Faye's pov

I needed to get out of here. I wasn't safe and especially not with Tom. I needed some sort of a way to get out of here. Just then the door opened and Kai walked in. I sped up to him snapped his neck and took advantage of the open door.

I managed to get out of the place Tom was staying at without anyone catching me. After speeding off somewhere far from Tom I stopped. I hadn't realized how hungry I had been. It had to be at least 3 days that I hadn't had any blood.

I was so blood lusted it was like something in me knew something bad was about to happen. I felt someone's hand on my shoulder so I whipped around to see who it was. I saw a random woman with a concerned look on her face. "Are you alright?" The woman asked.

I nodded my head and felt the hunger build up even more. I heard her heart beat, her blood flowing through her vains, and I felt my mouth begin to water. My eyes must have went red because the woman backed away from me with fear in her eyes.

I gripped her arm and pulled her back to me. I looked deep into her eyes before speaking. "Don't yell, this won't hurt." I said just above a whisper. I then felt my fangs come out and I sunk my teeth into her neck. The taste of her blood was so irresistible.

About 9 minutes passed and I finally pulled away. But then when I got my senses back I listened for a minute and there was no heartbeat. I looked at her and then her head slowly fell off. I had drank that much from her and I immediately felt panic.

"No.. no.. no!" I shouted and bit into my wrist but I knew my blood wouldn't help. Tears were running down my face and I couldn't stop myself. I felt so much from this one thing. I killed someone, an innocent person who just wanted to help.

But now I just wanted it to stop. I wanted all the pain I've been feeling to be gone. I needed time away from it all. I felt myself stop and think deeply I closed my eyes and something seemed to switch. Just like that all the pain was gone.
