Chapter 19: A World with a Talking Pig

Bracing herself for the impact of the fall, (Y/N) closed her eyes and waited, but was surprised when instead of the floor, she felt two arms grabbing her.

Opening her eyes, she saw that a kid with blond hair, emerald green eyes carrying a sword on his back that had a serpent-like dragon as the handle, had grabbed her before she fell to the floor.

-Who are you?- the blonde asked

-(Y/N)- she answered, looking around the place to see that she was in what it seems like a tavern

The blonde released the woman -Why are you here?-

-That is a good question kid - (Y/N) answered, patting the dust away from her clothes -I don't know how I got here, the only thing I know is that I was dragged through a portal-

-Ah- the kid hits his first to his other hand -That was that half-transparent/blue circle was-

(Y/N) hummed and again looked around-Where am I?- 

-In the Boar Hat Tavern - the blonde replied

The Dragon Slayer nodded, and she was about to walk towards the door when she felt that the Omni-directional mobility gear got stuck on her clothes, so she began to take it off.

-Meliodas!- a voice shrieked -Who is she?-

-Her name is (Y/N)- the blond replied to the voice

Once her Omni-directional mobility gear was off her and in her hands. She turned to look at the voice only to see a pig.

-I am Hawk!- the pig introduced himself to the mage

Opening her eyes in surprise, she looked at the talking pig -Have seen talking cats, but I didn't think that one day I would see a talking pig - she muttered

 -Are you Hungry?- Meliodas asked, hearing the stomach of the woman grumble

Blushing, (Y/N) nodded and was about to tell him to serve her food, but she remembered that Levi won't serve her food unless she had money, and since the mage just arrived at this dimension, she didn't have anything to pay for the food.

-I don't have any money- (Y/N) frowned, looking at the blonde

-Don't worry, you could work in my tavern, and there you could pay for the food you are going to eat- Meliodas told her like it was the best idea he had.

-I won't be here for much time, I want to go home someday- (Y/N) frowned at the thought of having to work for the kid for more than a month

-Once you paid for the meal you could leave- Meliodas said with a big smile on his face -Besides, you could sleep here too since I have an extra room-

Knowing that the blonde in front of her was offering food and a place to stay in this new world, (Y/N) decided to accept his offer -Okay, I will work for you, but the moment my debt is paid I can leave-

-Yes, don't worry- Meliodas said

-Perfect- (Y/N) replied

-You could leave that in the room you will be staying- Meliodas said, pointing to the gear that the woman was carrying

-Where is that room?- (Y/N) asked

-I will show you - Hawk excitedly said

The Dragon Slayer followed the talking pig to her room and left her Omni-directional mobility gear near the bed, then she followed the pig towards the kitchen.

-Can you tell me about this world?- (Y/N) asked as she sat while Meliodas cooked

The blond nodded and started explaining the basics of the world, he told her about the sea, that there were animals that lived too, there was the night and the day, humans need air to breathe, etc...
