Chapter 16: Dangerous World

As she walked out of the portal, she saw that she had appeared in front of a tree, which was surrounded by flowers.

Not smelling anyone near her, she decided to rest a little by the tree, but as she was laying down, she felt the floor shake.

Looking at her surroundings she found that there was a gigantic man with short brown hair and black eyes, without clothes and a terrifying grin on his face, running towards her.

As the gigantic man was close to her, it grabbed her, and (Y/N) just looked at the gigantic curiously, until it opened its mouth and tried to eat her.

That is when she took out a shadow sword and cut the gigantic man's hand, and once (Y/N) saw that it was regenerating its hand she widened her eyes and crouched down to touch the giant shadow.

-Appetite- the mage said, then the shadows wrapped around the gigantic man, once the shadows fully wrapped it, it disappeared.

Now that she looked at her surroundings, in search if another gigantic man appears, she saw in the distance, but not far away from where she was, a big wall, it was at least 50 meters tall.

Walking near the wall, she started hearing that on the other side of it, there were human living, so she was considering breaking the wall so she could be on the other side and know about this world.

As she was about to punch the wall to see how strong it was, a voice yelling stopped her. Looking where the voice was coming from, she saw that it was coming from the top of the walls.

She was about to go where the man was yelling, but she didn't have to, as the brown-haired man with weird equipment got closer to her, and grabbed by the waist and started carrying her to the top of the wall.

-What were you doing outside the walls?- the man inquired

(Y/N) did not respond just looked at the man analyzing him, he had brown hair, sharp black eyes, fair skin, dressed in a weird uniform and he looked like he was mad -I was resting- she shrugged

-What is your name?- the man asked

-(Y/N)- the mage responded

-Where do you come from?- the black-haired man asked again

-Form there- (Y/N) honestly said as she pointed to the tree where she fought the weird gigantic man

The man looked angered by her words, but he did nothing harmful to her as he counted under his breath.

-Can you tell me about this world?- (Y/N) asked

-Are you telling me that you don't know about the titans or the walls?- the man asked shocked

-No- the dragon slayer shook her head -Can you tell me your name?-

-Simon- the man responded -Where have you living to not know of the man-eating beast?-

-A rock- (Y/N) shrugged jokingly -What about these walls?-

-Are you sure you are not from Maria, Rose or Sheena?- Simon asked

(Y/N) scratched the back of her neck -Yeah, I am sure, so what I just got from you is that this world is infested with these titan things that kill humans, the humans are inside of these walls to protect themselves from these beasts, anything else I need to know?-

-I will have to announce to the troupe you are here, or I will be in trouble- the man mumbled

-Troupe? for defense or attack?- (Y/N) asked

-How did you hear that?- Simon asked, shocked.

-I have good ears- the mage responded with a smile on her face -Defense or attack?-
