Expecting only hours or days to have passed in her absence, she decided to test her powers in this universe with her rejuvenated body.

However, what awaited her was an unexpected encounter with a kid in the woods, searching for his shirt amidst the trees.

Glancing at the black-haired kid who was mumbling about his lost shirt, (Y/N) decided to ignore him.

"Clone." The girl closed her eyes, and shadows began to rise until a black figure, mirroring her form, stood before her.

Frowning, she examined her clone, puzzled as to why she felt so drained after its creation.

"Oh right" (Y/N) chuckled, recalling that she just used a significant amount of energy when she turned her body back to be an eight-year-old girl and teleported herself here

Dismissing the clone, she approaches the boy.

"Hey" the girl called out

"Yes?" the mage asked, turning around to see who called him

The boy furrowed his brow looking at the (H/C) haired girl, trying to recall where he knew her from.

"Do you know where is the Fairy Tail guild?" she asked

"I can show you" the kid responded, starting to walk towards the guild with his shirt in his hands

"My name is (Y/N), what's yours?" the girl asked, walking beside him

"Grey fullbuster" the boy responded glancing at the female beside him "Weren't you the girl that the master brought a year ago to the guild, but didn't join as she wasn't a mage, and left immediately"

(Y/N) stopped walking and blinked owlishly "It was a year ago? not some days or hours?"

"What are you talking about? It was a year ago" Grey said and looked at her as if she were crazy

"Didn't know I would be gone that much time" (Y/N) muttered, continuing in the direction she thought the guild was. "Hope Makarov still accepts me in his guild"

Grey looked at her weirdly "You are walking towards the other side"

(Y/N) stopped walking, and turned to look at him "I was hoping that I was on the right path"

Grey sighed and gestured for her to follow him again "Come on"

(Y/N) nodded, and the two kids went silently toward the guild.

Finally, when they arrived at the guild, (Y/N) thanked Grey and went towards the bar.

The man behind the table smiled as he recognized the girl who had come to the guild a year ago.

"Master, it seems that the girl is here again" the man called out

The said man turned from his stool and looked at the girl, feeling relieved when he saw that her dull eyes had now a spark.

"How are you, (Y/N)? Did you find Law?" Makarov asked, approaching her.

"I couldn't find him; had to take care first of another promise" (Y/N) said, scratching the back of her neck

"If you haven't found your friend, why are you here?" Makarov asked

"Don't know," (Y/N) responded sheepishly. "I think I wanted to join the guild; I can always turn back and search for Law."
