The Crazy Life Of Y/N

Chapter 5: The great loss

After two years of being a member of the guild, (Y/N) got closer to everyone.

After her mission with Laxus, they decided that they would do more missions together until the Raijinshu was formed since she didn't feel comfortable doing a mission with so many people.

Her dynamic with Erza and Mira mirrored the playful rivalry of Gray and Natsu. They teased and mocked each other, but if they needed help, they would first make fun of each other but immediately help each other.

Speaking of Grey and Natsu, after the fight (Y/N) had with Natsu, she apologized for knocking him out and doing that technique to him and immediately refused to fight against him every time he asked to fight her, and with Grey, she formed a team with him when she stopped doing missions with Laxus.

And with the rest of the guild, (Y/N) made some effort to learn the names of the others, but she didn't talk to them that much.

The first time (Y/N) heard about Gildarts, was when Natsu and Lisanna were talking about him, so she went to the master and asked about him. She learned that he was the strongest besides Makarov of the guild, so (Y/N) made a task to see him and talk to him, but she faced disappointment as her missions consistently clashed with Gildarts' guild appearances.

Finally, the day arrived when (Y/N) encountered Gildarts at the guild entrance. However, shock paralyzed her, overwhelmed by his striking resemblance to Shanks and a similar infectious cheerfulness.

After two years of living with Makarov, (Y/N) got so comfortable with him, that she now calls him "old man", disregarding the lack of familial ties.

On her birthday, Makarov bestowed upon (Y/N) a skateboard, a gift she wholeheartedly embraced and now wielded at every available opportunity. Playfully taunting Gray, she gracefully maneuvered the skateboard, holding his shirt in a light-hearted chase.

"Come on Gray! I can't believe you are so slow!" (Y/N) mocked him, seeing that Grey was running after her

"It's not fair; I'm at a disadvantage thanks to your skateboard," Gray complained. Determined to catch her, he attempted to impede her progress by freezing the floor, but it only propelled her forward.

"Come on! (Y/N) give it back" yelled Gray skiing on the ice.

But (Y/N) ignored him and continued skating until she reached a small hill. Transitioning from skating to running, she and Gray found themselves at the hill's peak. Gray leaped towards her, grabbing his shirt, leading to both of them rolling down the slope.

When they stopped (Y/N) was lying on the ground and Gray was on top of her, who quickly stood up and stole his shirt back.

(Y/N) stand up from the floor, and go to the tree on the top of the hill, to see the views of the mountains, once Gray had his shirt back on, he accompanied her to watch the landscape.

The two of them looked at the landscape in silence, comfortable with each other presence, until they heard a roar.

Startled, they observed a colossal dragon with black and blue lines flying directly toward them.

(Y/N) seeing that the dragon was about to roar again, (Y/N) immediately made some shadow hands and shut the mouth of the dragon.

"Gray go and warn the others!" (Y/N) urged, also making shadow ropes to trap the dragon, so it wouldn't follow Gray.

"I will not leave you! Did you forget? We are Nakama from the same guild, and we fight with each other" Gray told her, undressing his shirt and making some ice spears.

The young duo engaged in a fierce battle with the dragon. Once it closed its eyes, they thought they had won. But that was their big mistake, because the moment they relaxed, the dragon immediately got free of the shadow ropes and went towards them.
