It's been three days since Ayane's birthday, and apparently, she loved the Humunga Stache more than the fancy mug you gave her.
You softly laughed to yourself, thinking whether or not you should go back to the pet shop and show Kazutora a picture of Ayane enjoying the stache so you can chuck that annoying smirk off of his face.
But your attempts to go back into the pet shop the past three days fails as there would always be a scheduled meeting or the shop is already closed.
You finished up your coding to fix the bug in your team's app before lying down to rest your eyes so you can take a bath.
Working from home is a game-changer, you liked it very much than in the office where some of your colleagues would tease you if you didn't know how to make the code work ONE TIME. Their toxic misogyny and sexist jokes for a bunch of virgin assholes are too much to bear.
Good thing the new company allowed you to work at home, you didn't need much supervision anyways.
You've already had a meeting with your teammates and they were really nice, and the guys were not the same assholes from your previous company, And thank God there is a woman in the team.
You were typing on your keyboard to run the code and it got accepted.
"Yes" you uttered and stood up to stretch and went to your bed to rest your eyes.
"Hey Google, set timer for an hour"
"Okay, 1 hour. And that's starting... now"

Then you drifted off to a quick nap, an hour later, google woke you up with its alarm. You quickly stretched, grabbed your towel, and head to the bathroom.
You tried to turn the valve of the shower but it was hard, you added a slight force to it but it still won't budge. You added more force, still nothing. Then you added another force and the valve broke making water gush out from the pipe.
"Shit shit shit!" You yelled, already drenched in water as you tried putting back the valve but nothing happened.
"The switch" you said, panicking you went outside of the bathroom and looked around, there seems to be no sign of some switch panel board, you regret not memorizing the apartment for cases like these, and that you didn't mind the rusty valve from a few days back.
You went outside of your apartment to seek help from a neighbor but the one across yours went on a trip and won't be back until next week.
Then you heard footsteps coming up, you went over to the railing and were surprised to see that familiar yellow and black locks.

He immediately looked up and gave you the same surprised look.
"We keep running into each other, I might just think you're in love with me" he smirked teasingly and climbed up the few flights to reach your floor. You rolled your eyes at him,
