The door of the rooftop suddenly burst open and a laughing couple interrupted you both.
As if it was instinct, you both stepped away from each other and looked away.
"Oh sorry, we didn't know that this was occupied" Nami, if you remembered correctly was Kazutora's front door neighbor, apologized while her boyfriend stood beside her.
You cleared your throat and gave her a smile.
"Oh no, it's okay. We're going down now anyways" You said and picked your things up, Kazutora just cleared his throat and took his things with him as well and followed you to the door.
You both headed down the stairs silently, Kazutora continued to follow you until you've reached your floor. You unlocked your door and went inside your apartment, stopping by the doorframe to look back at Kazutora.
"So uhm about tonight" he broke the silence.
"Goodnight Tora and Thank you for the beautiful candlelit dinner" you leaned in and gave him a kiss on his cheek. Kazutora leaned towards it and muttered his goodnight to you as well.
You took off his jacket and handed it back to him. Then you turned around and closed the door behind you.
You were taking breaths to calm the rapid beating of your heart. You didn't know if you were right about what he was talking about. Damn Kazutora, why is it hard for you to say those words?
But if the time comes he'll say it to you, you wondered if you'll believe him or not.
