Finding out

I stepped into the kitchen quietly and saw a familiar figure. It was Camilo. I sighed and ignored him. He tapped on my shoulder.

"Want to come to the roof?"

"Now?" My eyes were heavy but I still agreed.

We both walked up to the roof together, seperated. We sat down on the stone cold seat and I sat away from him. He came closer to me and there was no space to move away.

I then heard a familiar voice. It was a girl's voice. I couldn't tell who's it was. Camilo's head perked up.

It was Maya. She was out with the same guy she'd been with. Camilo wasn't looking. He was twirling his hand with a flower. She started hugging the guy and caressing him.

I hit Camilo. He looked at me confusingly as I pointed to the pair cuddling with eachother.

His eyes started watering and his jaw dropped.

He didn't say anything, just tears falling all over his face. I touched his shoulder.

"Camilo?"

He didn't say anything, he got up and walked away. I didn't know what to do. Go after him or just stay here and pay attention. So that's what I decided to do. I went to Camilo's room. He was crying into his pillows.

"Go away Y/n,"
I didn't listen. I knew he would have to open up someday. I went to him and sat next to him. He looked away and pushed me slowly.

I didn't want to make him feel more bad So I decided to confront her myself. I walked up to the stairs into the roof and saw the pair caressing eachother.

"Smile," Dolores said, coming up behind me. She had brought Isabela too. I didn't say anything, just guessing she heard.

Maya's eyes dilated quickly and she sheepishly grinned. The guys head was nuzzled into her head so he didn't move. She kept trying to pull him off but he resisted.

I heard leaves being stepped on and saw Camilo with tears down his eyes.

He walked over to the pair and pushed the guy off her.

"I thought you loved me,"

"YOU LOVED Y/N THE WHOLE TIME!" She yelled.

"THIS ISN'T ABOUT HER."

They both were yelling at eachother faster than ever. I didn't know what to do and Dolores just told me to stand there.

"I LOVED YOU MAYA,"

"YOUR GRANDMOTHER DIDNT GIVE ME A CHOICE!"

He backed up.

"So you didn't truly love me?"

"Camilo no-"

"SO YOU DIDN'T?"

She stayed silent and he walked over to me. He grabbed me by the wrist and cupped my face.

"I gave up the one I loved for you. But now I'm taking her back."

His lips suddenly came on my cheek and my body exploded. Butterflies traveled from my upper body to my lower.

He scowled at Maya and grabbed my wrist. We went to his room and I laid next to him.

"You really loved me?"

"I thought you would've hated me,"
The next morning he moved seats to sit by me. We both sat by eachother and I felt different.

After lunch I went up to his room and asked him to come out.

"So I know I like you and Um- You like me so.."

He stayed silent.

"And well-"

The next thing I felt were his lips on mine.

He was kissing me.
