A Blessing

2 months later..

The smell of eggs breezed in the air and I slowly scrambled them together. I felt a pair of arms wrap around me and a soft kiss on my neck. I smile, knowing it's Camilo.

"Good morning sweetheart."

"Mhmm..."

I cracked one more egg and transferred them to a plate before handing one to Camilo. He smiled before kissing me on the cheek and we both sat down together. He fed some egg to me and I pushed it away giggling.

"These are so good,"

"Only made by the best."

I ran up to my room and changed into my outfit for work before grabbing my purse. I checked my hair before running back downstairs.

"I've got to go to work,"

"Same, I'll see you later my love. Need a ride?"

"No,"

I gave him a quick kiss before heading to my car and driving to work. After I reached, I quickly headed up to our floor. I felt a sharp pain ringing in my head but saw my co-worker coming up to me.

"Hey Y/N! Oh.. are you okay? You look pale.."

"Yeah I'm fine, let's just go yeah?"

I walked up to our desks and suddenly had the urge to vomit. Must've been those eggs because without saying nothing I went to the bathroom.

After a long time of wrenching pain I washed my face before heading back. I saw my colleague looking at me with a worried expression.

"You sure you're alright?"

"I'm fine.. trust me,"

The pain in my head grew larger, and I had to vomit once again. I took a drink of water and tried to calm down. My co-worker sighed before worrying about her own work.

I tried to get up to go to the restroom, but my efforts were interrupted by pitch black and me fainting.

I woke up in a hospital room. I didn't know where I was, I scanned around and saw a vase of pink roses and a card. I also saw a plate of fresh bread and eggs, since I was starving I started to eat it down.

Suddenly a tall doctor walked in followed by a worried Camilo. He sat down next to me and put his hand on mine as the doctor came up to me.

"Miss Y/N, since you've just suddenly fainted we have to take some tests on you."

"Of course.."

Camilo looked at me worryingly and I just nodded in response. I got up to go to the doctor and they ran a series of tests on me. I walked back to the room and sat by Camilo.

"What if something's wrong with me? I'm scared.."

He pulled me into a hug as he softly rubbed my back.

"You're gonna be okay Y/N. I promise."

He placed a soft kiss to my lips once again and we waited in silence for the doctor to come back. I just toyed with my fingers and the Doctor came in shortly after.

"Follow me please."

I looked at Camilo worryingly and he grabbed my hand before taking us both to the room. The doctor told me I could go change, so after he told us to both sit down in his office.

"Well um.. is anything wrong with me?"

"Not exactly.."

"What do you mean?"

He took a deep breath and Camilo squeezed my hand tighter before smiling at me. The doctor perked up to speak once again. I was still worried because his tone was changing.

"Mr. And Mrs. Madrigal.."

I waited for what seemed like forever before he finally spoke once again.

"Y/N is two months pregnant."

I gasped and Camilo did too. I looked at him before yelling in joy and he hugged me as well. He kissed me once more as we both were so happy.

"I'm pregnant!"

"I'm gonna be a dad!"

We both locked hands together and looked at the doctor once again. He explained the process and preparation and I headed home with Camilo after.

"I love you so much."

"How are my girls doing?"

"She's been kicking so much.."

He came over and placed a kiss on my cheek. I shifted my position to lay down on his lap and slowly nuzzled to sleep. Until I felt the urge to get up.

I got up and suddenly felt my water breaking. Camilo gasped and he took no time to carry me to the car and I yelped in pain.

As soon as we reached the hospital my attitude grew stronger.

"These contractions hurt! Get me on meds, now!"

"Get this child out of me!"

I squeezed Camilo's hand harder during every contraction and soon I had to push.

"You're doing great my love."

Finally, the child came out, and her cries filled the room. I looked at her and immediately fell in love. She had my eyes and looked exactly like Camilo, who was tearing up too.

He held her and cradled her gently as I was finally relieved. The doctors all congratulated me and I got to hold my child once again.

"What should we name her?"

"Rosalina,"

I giggled and kissed her forehead.

"Camiloo.. Rosalina's been crying all nightt,"

He came over to me and kissed me before soothing the baby.

"Shh.. go to sleep,"

The baby finally grew quiet as he came over to me and cuddled me. I wrapped my hands around his torso.

"I love you Camilo."

"I love you too, My love."~
