"It isn't the time for sentiment," I pulled away from his hug, blushing. He got ready and we both walked downstairs.

Just as usual, we sat and ate but this time Abuela perked up.

"I've found another gorgeous girl for Camilo. It's a shame Maya wasn't for him."

Camilo rolled his eyes and glanced at me before speaking up to Abuela.

"I'm not your little experiment to keep testing girls. I have someone in mind that I'd like to stay with. And I actually know them."

He gave me a sweet smile and my cheeks turned rose. Abuela looked offended as she searched for words. My father looked at Camilo then back at me and got the hint.

"Y/n, would you like to stay with us in the Casa Madrigal!" Pepa asked, trying to change the subject. I looked to my father and nodded slowly.

Abuela finally spoke up once again.

"Camilo, mi amor, you know the familia is only doing the best. Give this girl a try. She's nice, and I'm sure she'll treat you well."

"Mama, I think Camilo's old enough to pick who he wants to be with," Pepa said, as she glanced at me. Camilo put his hand on my thigh and smiled at me once again.

Abuela kept fighting for dominance but every second someone in the familia fought with her. At that moment we heard a knock on the door.

"I knew this would happen so I informed the dear girl's family before."

I heard Camilo swear under his breath and Pepa scoff.

Pepa got up to the door, told the guests to leave and slammed the door.

"Mama, we cannot go through this again!"

The air filled with rain as Pepa stood there with anger. Mirabel got up to comfort her as the whole familia stared at Abuela.

"Tell me, Camilo, who is this girl you're so overprotective with,"

"I-um.." Everyone shifted their gaze towards Camilo and smiled at him to go on.

"It's Y/n Abuela,"

Abuela looked shocked and Pepa's cloud disappeared. Everyone started cheering and Camilo turned beet red.

"But- the girl I got for you- It's your childhood friend Anita,"

"For god sake Mama he doesn't want Anita!" Julieta said, putting more trays of food out, and she sat down by me.

Abuela looked sad to see no one in the familia agreed with her as she again searched for more words.

"I'm very sorry, I hope you're happy with her but sadly Anita will have to stay with us,"

Dolores rolled her eyes and breakfast was over so everyone parted their ways. I went outside with Camilo as we sat at the fountain and talked.

"Anita, she used to play with us when we were little, how was she after I left?"

"She moved aswell. You know, her father becoming the CEO of some company, she visited a few times but was awfully quiet. She loved playing with Mirabel and Dolores."

I nodded and he suddenly laid down on my chest.

"We have to go Camilo, it's getting late."

"I want to stay with you my love,"

I blush but grab him up and we both head back to the Casita.

I see Anita with Mirabel and Dolores and they are dancing under the hail from Pepa's cloud. She gasps as she looks at me and I run up to her.

"Y/N!!"

"I missed you so so much,"

I hugged her once again and showed her to her room. We all sat down for dinner with small talk and I headed up to Camilo's room to sleep there. He switched off the light and I snuggled into his chest.

"Camilo?"

"Yes my love?"

"You promise you'll never leave me for another girl?"

"We already promised over this,"

He strokes my hair and hums a song. He kisses my forehead as we both go to sleep. But I wake up to him staring at the ceiling.

"Cant sleep Cami?" I say to him.

"Don't worry about me princesa," He turns to me and kisses my cheek. "Just thinking about stuff,"

"Well, we have stuff to do tomorrow so go to sleep,"

He sighs and looks at me.

"I'm worried about stuff. Mirabel keeps rambling about the magic, how she's the new guardian of the candle because she's an adult. I'm also worried about our future and us. It's hard to explain my love,"

"Everything will be fine,"

I shift to little spoon him and he lays in my chest as I play with his hair. He slowly drifts off to sleep and so do I.
