"Y/N," Abuela said. I gripped her cheeks as I cried.

"My precious, don't cry. I know I've been mean but i look at you as a best friend. You are definitely part of this familia. You remind me of Pedro, so much. Before I pass, I had to see your face."

"Abuela no! Don't say that, please.." Tears rolled my face.

"Don't worry Y/N, I'll always be with you, and the familia,"

"No Abuela, please.. keep your eyes open, we're almost there,"

Her body went limp, and her eyes closed..

I jolted awake and tears were in my eyes. I could tell I was sniffling and crying loudly because Camilo started to wipe my tears.

"I need to see Abuela,"

I didn't take any time to go to her room. I didn't even knock, just flung the door open. There she was, sleeping peacefully. She looked more brighter than her old sick self.

I sighed in relief as I dragged back to the room. My schedule was boring everyday. Waking up, doing things.. But still, there was nothing else to do. I've hung out with everyone and done everything of town.

It was almost Abuela's birthday and I was getting worried about her. I trudged to Camilo's room and he was sitting there waiting for me.

"Want to talk about it?"

"I had a d-dream.. Abuela.. she.."

I couldn't say the last part and I burst into tears. He didn't say anything as he pulled me into a warm hug. I cried into his chest, for an hour straight. The next thing, I remember waking up on him.

"You alright sweetheart?"

"Yeah,"

Today was Abuela's birthday and the whole familia gathered at the room. Tears filled their eyes.

"Aye, familia, we must not cry, we should stay strong,"

She sat up so we could all cut a cake together and Camilo held my hand. As long as it all went well I was trying to keep my emotions intact. He rubbed circles at the back of my thumb and we went to my room.

"What do you wanna do,"

"Fountain,"

I sat with him and just read a book until he finally piped up.

"Do you love me?"

I looked at him and laughed.

"Of course cutie,"

"Seriously,"

"Yes, why,"

"I was just thinking.. would you ever wanna get married?"

"Well, yes,"

I bit my lip nervously and we both stared at eachother before he leaned in close to me.

"I love you so much my love,"

He pulled me into a melting everlasting kiss and it was so soft I almost melted into it. He wrapped his hands around me and pulled away. We both stared at each others deep eyes.

We went back inside and wanted a celebratory dinner so Julieta asked me and Mirabel to help cook. I was making Abuela's favorite soup and Mirabel nudged me.

"This whole life is boring now. There's not a ring to it as when you first came weeks ago. I liked it better when you and Camilo were clueless for eachother."

"Me too, but I can't break up with him just for that, haha," I say. She playfully throws a piece of bread at me and Julieta hands both of us an arepa.

"Taste,"

It melts in my mouth and after about an hour dinner is ready. I set all the plates and the food aswell. Camilo moved to sit by his mother. I didn't know why but went along with it.

He stared at me and when I caught him looking he smirked at me. Pepa was annoying him with her words and stories and he nodded along. All I did was smile at him.

Afterward, it was just normal for us. I cuddled with him and he piped up once again.

"You sure you would marry me?"

"Yes, Camilo!"

"You're the most beautiful girl I've ever seen,"

I playfully punch his chest and then just drift off to a nap.
