Seerat was just a few turns away from the entrance of the Raisinghania mansion she was getting more and more nostalgic as she was nearing her destination, when Seerat first met Shehnaaz Raisinghania, she was just a 13-year-old girl desperate for money.
Seerat's family was in ruins then, her father was fired from his job and they were having a financial crisis, she was on verge of being expelled from her school due to fee issues the only reason she was not getting dismissed was her excellent performance in academics and extra-curricular activities.
She was a classmate of her brother Aryan, they both were cordial and good friends. Out of concern Aryan once mentioned her to Shehnaaz. After that Shehnaaz helped her by getting her enrolled in a scholarship program to secure her education.
Shehnaaz tried to keep her involvement under wraps but Seerat was much smarter than she expected, she got to know about Shehnaaz being her secret benefactor. As much as Seerat appreciated her concern for her family and was also grateful for it, she had her pride in not taking anyone's favors.
She still remembers the moment when she confronted Shehnaaz Raisinghania for the same

"Ms. Raisinghania as much as I appreciate your concern for myself, even I have my principles," said Seerat
"you are smarter than I expected Ms. Sharma" spoke Shehnaaz, narrowing her eyes
"I am very well aware of my virtues Ms. Raisinghania," said Seerat
"Just to inform you, Ms. Sharma I didn't enroll you in that program an acquaintance of mine who's running it did" informed Shehnaaz
"I don't want anyone pitying me," said Seerat
"No one's doing that Seerat, you're a brilliant student, and getting expelled on the grounds of the fee wouldn't help you in your life, and you surely don't want to add on your father's worries regarding your education" explained Shehnaaz
"I don't know what to say, but I can't accept this" spoke Seerat
Shehnaaz signaled her to sit next to her, Shehnaaz got up and asked "Is helping someone wrong Seerat ?"
"no"
"Then why is taking it wrong ?" said Shehnaaz, asking the million-dollar question
Seerat thought for a while and spoke "Ok Ms. Raisinghania I'll take it, but I'd like to return your favor"
"See if you're talking in terms of money then I'm not the one who's spending and if you'll talk to the head of the campaign about it then please forget it," said Shehnaaz
"Ok Ms. Raisinghania but I seriously want to help you," said Seerat adamantly
This was the first time when Shehnaaz saw someone as stubborn as her, she thought for a while and spoke "Ok if you're so adamant then, you know that I've taken over my father as the new CEO recently and I also haven't found a perfect assistant for myself so if you want you can take up that role. That's nothing major or hectic you just need to prepare a schedule for a week and you just have to do it on Sundays and never at the cost of your studies and I'll also pay you."
"I'll accept it"
And from that moment was the stepping stone for the 18-year relationship of love and respect between them.
