PARADISE MANSION

Amira just knew that is the time to tell them, there is no way that she can keep it a secret. So, first she made sure that she tells both the concerned parties together.

"I'd request both of you settle down first, because what I am going to tell you now is something grave and serious" spoke Amira with all her seriousness

"You know, when you say serious I hear 'Karan took my cupcakes', for god's sake Amira we'll get more, there is no need for playing this façade of seriousness" spoke Shehnaaz

Amira took a deep breath and spoke "Shehnaaz this ain't a thing about cupcakes,....this is about maasi"

"What about maa Ami?" asked Siddharth

"It's not about her, It's about Naina Maasi" spoke Amira as low as she could, but it was loud enough for them to hear

Sana shot up her eyes the instant her mother's name was uttered, Siddharth held her hand tightly to calm her down. He signaled Amira to go ahead

Amira took a deep breath and told them whatever Riddhima told her, all the while Siddharth held her close as if he was trying to absorb the storm brewing inside her. By the end his face had darkened to the darkest shade,

"She told you this ?" asked Shehnaaz, in a voice trembling with fear and worry

"She did" answered Amira

Sana took a few breaths, she would have cried hard if it was not for that fucking anhedonia. Yes, she cannot cry and she won't

Siddharth could feel her temperature rising, he quickly grabbed a glass of water and made her drink that.

"I'm tired of all this" whispered Shehnaaz as she slowly came out of his hold and got up on her feet, and went out of the room.

"Randhir, there is a letter for you" spoke his mother as she forwarded it to him

He opened the envelope, read it and kept it on the table

"What is it ?" asked his mother

"Nothing, just a notification that I need to collected my license from Delhi, So maa I think that you should start packing. We have a flight to catch" spoke Randhir

"What about your license ?"

"Don't worry maa, we have a stop at delhi, i'll collect it from there"

"So, tumhe delhi jane se darr nahi lag raha" asked Sakshi

"Maa, I think that fear is just a state of mind and who can deal with mind better than a physiatrist" spoke Randhir

Sakshi Sehgal stood mute for a while and spoke "Tumhe nahi lagta ki she deserves to know..

"WHAT SHOULD I TELL HER" thundered Randhir, cutting his mother mid-way

"That 'I am Sorry Amira' tumne jis ladke ko mara hua samjha,.. woh zinda hai..... he fucking lied to you, 'just forgive me for this small mistake'... yeh kahu usse"  added Randhir

"Tumne apne us ek jhoot se, shayad uski zindagi barbad kardi hai" reprimanded Sakshi

"Uski zindagi barbad tab hoti.... jab woh mujhse Shaadi karti" spoke Randhir, in such a tone that even ice seemed warmer than him
