Shehnaaz was putting Randheer and Anaya to bed, she made them change into their nightwear and tucked them in their beds, she kissed both of them on their foreheads and pulled the duvet to cover them. She switched off the lights of their room when they dozed off.

Shehnaaz went back to her room, where Siddharth was frowning over the laptop 

"What happened ?" asked Shehnaaz

"Just reviewing a file, by the way, your lawyer sent me those papers," told Siddharth

"You agree with me over this na?" asked Shehnaaz

"It's your call entirely Sana, I've no say in this" spoke Siddharth 

Shehnaaz was very hurt by his words, she took a deep breath and lay on the bed covering herself with the duvet,

after a minute or two, someone knocked at the door of their room, Shehnaaz wasn't asleep but still, she didn't get up to open the door. Siddharth got up, abandoning his laptop 

He opened the door and found his mother there usually, she doesn't knock at this hour he signaled her to enter inside, but she refused and got him outside 

 She handed him a pillbox that looked more than familiar to him

"This Shehnaaz's na," said Siddharth

"ya, it's hers only actually I found it in the kitchen she might've forgotten it there," said Mythali

Siddharth nodded and wished her good night, his mother kissed him and did the same.

Siddharth came back to his place and opened the pillbox to inspect that has his wife taken all the prescribed pills, but to his disappointment, he found that she has been skipping them for several days.

He patted at her figure to wake her up, but she wasn't giving into his attempts

"I know you're awake Sana, you know you can't fool me," said Siddharth

Hearing no response, he sighed and pulled her duvet harshly and found her lying wide-awake, angered she got up and asked "What is this Siddharth"

"First tell me what is this ?" asked Siddharth, showing her the box

Shehnaaz sighed and turned her face away, Siddharth pulled her hand and spoke "I'm waiting Sana"

She sighed again and spoke "Wo, I was busy for the past few days so I forgot about it"

"Did you take them today ?" asked Siddharth sternly

She shook her head in denial, Siddharth sighed and forwarded her a glass of water along with the pills. Shehnaaz took them and gulped them down without a single word and gave him an annoyed look.

"What happened Shehnaaz, why are you upset" asked Siddharth

"You're asking me what happened, seriously" emphasized Shehnaaz 

"Shehnaaz please don't irritate me" spoke Siddharth, trying to remember what he did

"Yes, now I am irritating you also, very much correct" spoke Shehnaaz and got up from the bed, she quickly put on her slippers and went out of the room, banging the door.

Siddharth was left in a trance by her reaction

"Yeh temperature Aaj itna high kyo hai ?" wondered Siddharth

Siddharth started thinking that what he did that left her annoyed, he recalled all the moments that happened today, then after a while, he got the right nerve and didn't even waste a second to get up. He knew that she must have gone in the garden so, he headed towards the same destination.
