Lost

Alyna, Aurora, and Zed walked back to the dorm to see Hat cleaning up.

"Hey guys, how was the library?" Hat chirped enthusiastically.

"We should be asking you that." Zed set down herself, pulled the shutter on the door, and Alyna's eyes bulged in fear as Zed stood over Hat, a mask covering her face, a jail uniform, and a claws that looked like they could kill with a single swipe.

"Zed...you shouldn't do this." Hat's voice was fearful, yet strong.

Zed shook her head, tears pooling up in her eyes, not like anyone could see.

"You were my best friend. The one who helped me. And you...you betrayed us."

Hat's eyes flickered. Black to green. Green to black.

"Zed, it isn't me! Get Olive, he's the only one-"

"I'm on it." Aurora yelled as she dashed out of the room to find Olive.

Hat's Aravoid self started to form, and it was clearly terrifying.

A shadow, ruby red eyes, a cloak with chains covering her.. And a scythe with black shadows emitting out of it.

She stepped towards Alyna, as Zed clawed at Hat.

"Don't you dare touch her." Zed tackled Hat, as she lifted her claw, a single scratch swiped across Hat's face, blood spilled out, gushing down Hat's face, and Zed saw Hat's black eyes look pained, before changing to an emerald green.

A familiar voice yelled loudly.

"Stop!" Alyna turned around to find Olive, with Aurora right behind him.

"Zed, turn back into your human form." Olive ordered, as Zed obeyed, her mask falling from her face, clattering to the ground as Zed sat down on the ground, tears in her eyes.

Olive's hair rose, his amethyst eyes sparkling more than ever. His aravoid form, unlike the others, was different. It wasn't scary, it was...beautiful. His cloak rose from the ground, as he levitated. His face started reading foreign languages, as he muttered incantations.

Blood started seeping out of Hat's chest, as electricity circled around her. Alyna watched fearfully, Aurora hid her face in her hands and zed was crumpled on the floor, passed out.

"Hat. I can't do this to you." Olive choked on his words.

"Just do it!" She roared at him.

"You were my sister. I loved you." He whispered.

Time froze. Hat's face turned pale.

"What...sister?"

Zed snapped out of being passed out, then stared at the scene. Hat levitating, Olive controlling currents of electricity, and Alyna and Aurora hiding in the corner of the room.

Finally, Hat was let down by the electricity, and she crumpled on the ground. A shadow crept over them, as Olive took out a jar, as the dark energy was sucked in.

"What happened?" Aurora yelled at Olive.

Olive sighed, looking too tired to explain. He did anyway.

"She must have been taken over by a negative energy. Luckily, the energy is contained and can't get out. I'll hide it somewhere..." Olive explained, heading out.

"I have to go for now, she should wake up in an hour or so." Olive whispered, obviously shaken by the events.

"W-wait! Will she remember everything?' Zed shouted, grabbing Olive's arm.

"Yeah. Even when she was a traitor." Olive finally stepped out of the threshold, and disappeared. Aurora looked outside the door, and her eyes widened. In the direction of where Olive went, seafoam colored hair followed. Oh god.

Selina saw him.
