12) Oh no!

As we got closer my heart started beating faster and faster. Ross Lynch is not who I thought he was. He is an out of control person. A super out of control person. What sort of teenager brings another teenager to a party to make up for some stupid mistake? I really underestimated this guy big time. What happened to the sweet Disney boy?

When we stared at the house closer I saw that it was not an out of control party at all. I was once again wrong about him. The barn house was actually an empty barn, with the garage door open. There looked like there were haystacks inside, a DJ booth and a drinks table from my view from outside. It was crowded but since everyone moved you could see between the moving gaps. Everyone inside was jumping and singing along with the song that was so loud it was a struggle to hear yourself think. If this is his idea of a party then I'm confused. He is a celebrity there's pictures of him floating around of him in clubs with girls practically clinging onto him. The people here were unrecognizable to say at the least. They all looked so happy to be dancing to some up beat music. I stood there in front of Ross inside the barn staring at him. We had nothing to talk about and I sure did not want to dance. That was the only thing I was certain of. I continue to look around since that is all I could be bothered to do. The barn was painted in an awful shade of yellow that resembled the colour of puke. It looked more like a charity event that a party but it confused me why he would bring me here of all places. I keep forcing a smile though because it would seem rude not to. He didn't look like he was having a good time either, he just kept forcing a smile himself. I don't know how I use to think we were sole mates. We are certainly nothing alike in anyway or form. I do have to admit though he is cute even if he looks really awkward.

I felt someone fall on me causing me to stumble. I fall upon the person in front of me, Ross. I stare at where my lips were, crashed against his. Feeling his soft lips against mine gave a tingly feeling inside. I quickly pull away not knowing what to do. I turn around looking for the person but I couldn't see anyone in sight. There were hundreds of people here. But none of them seemed like they'd just fell on someone, they all seem like they haven't stop dancing. I stare back at Ross, he stopped forcing a smile and just looked plain confused. I was too, confused. The music stopped all of a sudden resulting in a chorus of sighs and groans from the crowd. They all stopped dancing by now which seemed to really annoy them, they must really like their music. Even more than me by the looks of it and I can't go any where without mine. Ross loves music too of course being in a band and all. But these people religiously need their music or something to do anything. The room is completely silent without a word or sound, completely still. A man started pushing his way through the crowd grumbling to himself as the crowd stood still and didn't budge or move out of the way. He kept on muttering and pushing his way through until he was in the centre of the room. He lifted the small mic connected to his head piece to his lips and spoke.

"Please have fun and dance for goodness sakes" he announced he says staring straight at Ross and I.

"But your music sucks" I muttered under my breath to myself.

Against my wishes, the same song starts again. I stare at Ross and force a smile, he does the same. I look back at the guy. He hasn't moved but just continues to stand there. The guy looks at us again frowning his face gesturing his hands to come closer to him. I look at him oddly choosing to keep standing where I was. He gave up after a minute and walked off towards the DJ booth. I turn around to Ross but he wasn't where he was a minute ago. I look around frantically in the stuffed barn, hoping to see where he went but there was no sign of him. I start to squeeze my way through the crowd looking everywhere for him, I end up being pushed towards the drinks table which contained one full bowel of pink colour punch and a tower of un-used drink cups. This party seems to get stranger every second. I stand on my tippy toes looking around the barn but it didn't help since my shoes were so flat in the first place. I sigh to myself and try again to squeeze my way through the crowd hoping to find him. But all I could see were bopping people, strangely enjoying the music choices. Thankfully I see a blonde by the DJ booth and since he's not dancing I'm almost certain it's him.

"I'm sorry" he frowned as he looked up at my presence.

"For what?" I ask sitting beside him on the haystack.

"For taking you here"

"Why would you be sorry for that?" I ask already knowing the answer.

"The music sucks and it's obvious that you're not having a good time"

I grab his hand pulling him up and towards me. "Dance with me" I simply say. He looks at me oddly as I try to dance to the crappy music pouring out of the speakers. Moving my body left and right not caring how awkward I must look. Ross stands there looking at my moves nodding slightly and pressing his lips together. I try my hardest to dance but the odd music made it hard to do. It was like trying to sing to Iggi, no matter who you are you look odd trying to rap. I continue to do it anyway because I need something to distract me. The odd song finally finished leaving me feeling joyed about the fact it's finally over and tired from dancing. The new song plays, the first one I've recognize in all my time being here. Ross must've recognized it too because he started to hum along and genually smile at me. I hum along too starting to awkwardly dance again. He smiles and shakes his head a little at me making me smile for some reason.

"I really need to teach you some dance lessons" he smiles dancing a little himself.

"Why would a 'high strung' person like me need to know how to dance?" I ask quoting the name with my fingers. He shakes his head again, smiling to himself like he knew something I didn't. I swung my hips side to side to the beat of the music. I wrapped my hands through his hair pulling him closer towards me until our faces were inches away from each other. He grins at me as I lean close to his ear. "I forgive you" I say hoping he can hear me over the loud music.
