KEHARI SIGHED INTO his handshearing the back door open behind him. He knew it was Amarie because no one else would give a fuck about him. He just didn't want to hear what she had to say.
This was the second time she caught him in a weak moment and this time she had to stick up for him. He hated that.
He kept his face in his hands feeling her walk past him. He prepared himself to hear some lecture about self love, knowing his worth, and other bullshit along those lines.
Amarie didn't say anything to his surprise and silently sat beside him on the back porch looking around Kevin's pretty backyard that she hadn't seen before. Admiring the stars and moon in the sky too.
Not hearing anything Kehari took his head out his hands and looked up at her.
Since she wasn't speaking or looking at him he took the opportunity to say something first.
"I'm dumb as fuck. Youon gotta tell me... I'm already knowing." He mumbled looking down to his feet.
"I wasn't going to say that." She informed.
"Yes you was. 'You need to leave her' 'get away from them' That's all everybody say." He shook his head.
"Kehari, stop grouping me with everyone else. You piss me off with that shit bro." Amarie looked up at him, base in her tone.
