Edward Cullen stared wide eyed at the darkskin girl in front of him, She'd waltzed up to him and him siblings, parking herself dab smack in the middle of them; hands on her hips and eyebrow raised. "Alright little Bats lets go to your house." She gave a large toothy grin before turning around to leave the building. No one moved "Hurry the fuck up Powder Rangers. We need to talk" the coven\family heard her shout and headed out toward their cars quickly. Alice sending a message to the family group chat that there was to be a family meeting in 10 minutes.
Lyazia sat in the passenger side of Edwards shiny volvo, the two being alone in the car. "You saved bella." She said softly, honey colored gaze locked onto the side of his porcelain face.
"I did."
"she's your.." She paused lips pursing as she tried to come up with the word she's heard oh so many times in her life "BLOODSINGER!" She shouted in triumph, crooked grin on her pretty face. "Yea. She's also my mate." He admitted, feeling unable to hide the fact from one of his destined loves.
"you know what I am?" She asked softly, eyes turning soft. Nervousness dousing her happy demeanor. "The wolf who imprinted on my family." He said and that was the end of their one-on-one as they pulled into a massive glass house. "Ooo wow! This is nice this is realll nice! I betcha got a nice kitchen huh? Ooo how's the view from tha-" she stopped her rambling as she realized she was out of the car and surrounded by her imprints- well, most of them anyways.
"Esme designed it." Alice piped in, wide smile of her face as she lead the girl into the home where another beautiful woman stood waiting. Gentle smile on her face. Lyazia gazed at her through her lashes, smiling softly as her world spun once more, now with all the Cullens and a human girl in the center.
"you got a lovely home.." She felt breathless, and maybe she was. Maybe being surrounded by her imprints killed her and she DIED looking at the faces of literal angels.
She turned around, seeing all the unsure, happy, and excited faces of her imprints. Deciding to man up and placed her hands on her hips glancing at everyone with a wolfish grin "I think introductions are in order, hello lovelies my name is Lyazia Owen's, An elemental shifter!"
At hearing the last part the coven leader perked up, Golden eyes sparkling in excitement "I've read the last shifter of your kind was seen one hundred years ago, can you really control the elements? Are you limited to a single animal form? Are you able to use your powers in animal form only or is it the opposite?-"
"Jesus-" the girl in question laughs, head thrown back and laughed like a hyena. "Considering it was my mother who was stupidly spotted by the volturi 100 years ago, she'd barley escaped with her life. All in vein though considering she died less than a year ago. My father is a shifter from a tribe with psychic abilities. Yes, I can control the elements, all my powers work amazingly in all forms thank you very much, no I'm not limited to a single animal form- my original form is the wolf- of course- followed by a hyena, panther, raven, mamba, bunny, and a doe."
"do your animal forms stem from anything certain or do they just appear randomly?"
"My mom used to tell me that a single form is okay, but the more forms you have the more powerful you and your mate will be. Unlike normal shifters, we don't phase by luck. We are born phased, as our mother gives birth in animal form. We turn human after a year. At five or six we would go through the 'second calling' its where if we have another form we'll shift into them. I was a bit late- when I was 8 years old I shifted forms six times before passing out for a week." Lyazia nodded as she finished her story, eyes shining with a happy glint as she spoke.
"Here you go hun you must be hungry, here's some iced tea as well." Same spoke softly, setting a large and mouthwatering sandwich onto the table in front of the girl along with a large glass of iced tea with lemon in it.
"you're a literal angel I think I'm in love with you! Thank you so much!" She cried out happily beaming up at the shy looking woman before gratefully turning to her food to let her mates spit out some info on themselves.
"I Gather you know our names already?" Carlisle asked softly, leaning back in the chair he was in. He looked absolutely scrumptious.
Edward snorted and the girl turned to him, eyebrow raised suspiciously 'This white boy wanna get punched?' She thought calmly, swallowing the bite of her sandwich and replying to Carlisle with a yes.
"I'd rather not be hit, thank you very much." The bronze haired vampire mumbled, causing the melanin skinned girl to choke on her tea, Esme gently patting her back.
"Can he read minds? Please say no, oh my god-" she rambled, eyebrows raised and she looked around dramatically.
"He can!" Alice chirped happily, pointing her finger at herself "I can see the future, and he's an empath." She jabbed her finger in the southern vampires direction.
Lyazia met Edwards eyes, her own honey orbs shining with a mischievous glint 'if you can hear me, say fuck.' She thought stubbornly and Edward smirked "I'm not saying that." She let out a sigh and slumped into her seat, picking up her delicious sandwich and taking another big bite. One she swallowed she let out a huff "I hate vampires." A joke, they'd realized by the teasing glint in her eye.
"So, y'all know about me. Do I get to learn about my mysterious imprints?" She questioned, preparing to take another bite.
"But of course m'lady." Jasper grinned and for the next hour or two they went around, getting to know eachother. Their past, their present, favorite hobbies, least favorite things, music, their powers. Lyazia felt home with these vampires, she could only wish Bella learned of this soon so her beautiful doe-eyed imprint didn't have too sit in the dark long.
