Comment! Tell me what you think! :) xx

Dad had taken the next step to preventing me from seeing Jake.

He'd boarded up my window.

I sat my bag on my bed and sat down on my quilt.

I stared at the hardwood flooring panels now covering my window.

Jake said he'd come round tonight after Dad had left.

To Jake- you're gonna get to use the front door tonight!

Jake- Wow! Feeling like I've won an Oscar. Lol

Dad's gone and boarded up my windows. >:(

Aww, grumpy baby. I'll be round about seven? Xx

Seven sounds good. I'll text you if Dad has a change of plans.

K babe. Love you. Xxx

Love you more like Dumbledore.

Love you lots like jelly tots!! Xxx

G2g now babe. Studying! X

K baby boo. Xx

I opened my bag to see Jake's leather jacket.

I hung it on my bedpost and got out my biology homework.

When seven o'clock came around, I waited patiently for Dad to leave.

" Behave while I'm at work, Tabitha. " my Dad said, opening my bedroom door to see me studying.

He hadn't called me Tabitha in years.

I gave a little sigh: " I will, Dad. "

I waited for the front door to close behind him as he left.

I checked my phone for any messages from Jake.

1 new message from Jake♥

Hey babe. Everything good?

I replied: yup, see you soon xxx

I waited for the sound of his motorbike but I heard nothing.

The moon was probably high in the sky now, illuminating the streets of suburbia in which I lived.

I got my hoodie and my earbuds for my phone.

I plugged into The 1975's track, Medicine.
I pulled my hoodie around myself as I made my way to the front door.

I slipped my Chuck's on and opened the door.

I walked the length of the long path.

I...I wanna marry you...said I...I adore you. And that's all I have to say, bye bye.

Those lines were my favourite.

I was right about the moon, the whole street was bathed in a bluey white glow.

No cloud dared cross the beautiful sky as stars freckled her face.

I took one long look at the full moon, thinking about the one memory I had with my mother.

I remember it like it was yesterday. I was only just beginning to sit up by myself and my mum would always make little sock puppet shows for me to stop me from crying during my teething stage.

I know it's impossible but I've always told myself that I remember being born.

All I remember is darkness and then an opening and then seeing light and a face.
