Amoly

"Great, just great." I muttered sullenly.

"Come on, this isn't so bad." Talena said.

I looked at her coldly.

"Okay, it's bad. But look at all this from a brighter side. "

"Really? To look on the brighter side? So tell me, where do you see the bright side? "I began to get even more annoyed.

"Well, oh, look at these stars and the moon, they're just divine. The sky is beautiful, right? "

I raised my eyebrows (Yes, I know they don't have eyebrows but you know what I mean) and tilted my head slightly.

"Are you serious or are you just kidding me?"

"Oh! I'm trying to cheer you up! Why do you have to be like that? "

"Oh, so you're trying to cheer me up. You know what will cheer me up? I will cheer up when we find Larota and beat her up like a street cat! "

Venus joined in the conversation "Yes, if we find her alive."

"Of course she is alive. Idiots and fools like her are very lucky and always get away with it. No need to worry. "I said angrily.

I sounded like I didn't care at all about my foolish sister, and I guess many of you think I didn't seriously think that and that I care deeply about her. Well, you know... you are completely wrong. Everything I said I meant seriously.

Larota has more luck in her finger than wit in her head. Cruel but true, things like this have happened before.

"Besides, we have to figure out how to get our own asses out of this." I added.

We were now prisoners of a bandit group. We have been tied to stone pillars for a couple of hours. We were at the top of one of the many hills. There were more stone pillars and each had a deity carved to which the bandits worshiped and prayed.

The gang was colorful, I mean the look of the people. There were anthropomorphic animals and people. Anthropomorphic animals were of various species, cats, dogs, frogs, mice,... People were of various colors, white, black, yellow and mixtures. There were more men than women. And everyone celebrated tonight because everything they took from us was a big and precious catch. Our belongings were lined up on one of the tables.

There was my bag with medicines, herbs, and first aid instruments. There was the Venusun sword, thirtytwo knives of various sizes and shapes that belonged to Talena and my whip. There was also Talena's necklace with a ring, a bag with money, a map that Oliver gave us, and of course a box with a ring, actually with a crown, which is why we went on the trip. And besides that, they had Lupus and our two horses, the third horse broke two legs, so they killed him and now they are baking for themselves for dinner.

Everyone looked at our things and thought about what to do with them. Some suggested selling the weapons while some wanted to keep them to themselves. They wanted to throw away my precious bag, jerks, they have no idea how many precious medicines and herbs there are.

Some girls wore a ring that was actually a crown and a necklace. They admired themselves and commented on how they looked.

Talena watched angrily as her precious necklace hung around other women's necks. She must have imagined in her head killing them all. If it was some of her other jewelry, she wouldn't have paid attention, but that necklace with a pearl ring was important to her. That ring was a part of her, a part of her life she once had.

"Did anyone have any idea how to get out of here?"

"I'm working on it." Venus said, looking carefully around her with her black eyes.
