"You are useless! Is that why I married you?! To give birth to female children? "

Slap. The woman's body collapsed to the floor.

"They're not even wolves, they're disgusting turtles!"

Another blow.

"I'm sorry! Please forgive me! We can try again." The woman cried.

"This is the third time! Three girls... THREE!!! This is embarrassing! You embarrassed the whole family!"

Lots more punches.

I tried to run, to help. But as much as I tried to run fast I was slow. Why can't I move faster?

Another blow and the last one. She was dead.

I looked at the man, no, at the wolf. Anger grew in me. He will pay for everything.

I landed on my hands and feet and growled like a beast. He will pay.

I jumped on him. I want to bury my teeth in his neck. I'll show him I'm a wolf. And I'll kill him like a real wolf kills.

"Larota! Wake up, sleepy beauty. "

"Huh?"

I looked at Talen.

"Morning, let's have breakfast."

It took me a few seconds to wake up. I was leaning against Lupus and tucked into his warm fur. My sisters sat around the fire and prepared breakfast. The smell of food spread in the air.

I stretched and yawned loudly.

"Are you sick? It's weird that the smell of food didn't wake you up." Talena teased me.

"Maybe..." I replied.

I looked at Venus. She was sitting on the grass that was damp with dew. When she realized I was looking at her, she looked back at me.

I sat down next to her and rested my head on her shoulder.

She hugged me and rubbed my shell.

"Oh, you big baby. You never get enough attention." Amoly scoffed at me.

Venus said nothing. She continued to caress me without a word.

She looks cold and scary, but she knows how to be gentle.

Venus? Gentle? I know, it sounds crazy and unreal.

We had breakfast enjoying a clear morning. The day will be sunny and warm. Although we wanted to stay and enjoy ourselves we had to keep going. We packed our things and put out the fire. My sisters rode their horses and I rode my faithful wolf. And so we continued on our way.

"Taly, what are we going to sing today?"

Talena and I have a habit of singing while traveling, we are that cheerful part of the team. We love a good party. Although we differ in style. Talena is an elegant, while I am wild.

And so the two of us sang out loud.

"We've been traveling for three days, haven't you got bored?" Grumbled the youngest sister, who was getting annoyed by the noise.

Amoly is the brain and doctor on our team. She is smart and intelligent, but she is also a hot head. She gets annoyed very quickly and often, and mostly it's because of me.

Venus was silent and watched in front of her as she rode.

She is, as could already be noticed, our leader. She organizes us, makes plans and all the other things that a leader does. She is a person full of pride. She can't stand when someone doesn't respect her.
