"Jade..."

Awkward silence made me start to feel a little dizzy. She looked so worn out but healthier than when I knew her. I assume she finished taking a shower because her hair was slightly wet. A towel was drooping around her wrist, and a large gray tee shirt, which I presumed to be Louis', was the only clothing she wore.

"Uh, I'll just let you guys talk. If you need anything I'll be in my room." Louis uncomfortably shifted.

Jade and I stared at each other a little longer. It felt like I finally found another puzzle piece to my heart, only to be disappointed the puzzle wasn't finished. I could not tell what Jade was feeling at all. Her feet carried her up to me, dropping the towel on the couch in the process. When she was only a foot away, she slapped me in the face.

"What are you doing here?"

I recomposed myself, "Jade I needed to see you."

"A couple weeks after you almost killed me?"

"I just wanted to make sure that I wouldn't hurt you again. What if I actually did kill you?"

"Then I would die in your hands, but happily."

"Jade I'm not killing you. I needed to get away from you."

"Is that why you let me stay with Louis?" She crossed her arms.

"Partially, but it was mostly because I made a promise."

I was trying hard not to play with anything or show how nervous I was. Jade didn't say anything and it made me heat up. What if she really does hate me? Anxiety started to build up but I hid it from Jade. Millions of thoughts raced in my mind.

Jade is better off without you.

You were two inches from killing her, shes dead inside.

She doesn't want you in her life because she hates what you did to her. Leave.

I blinked hard before I started pounding my head. I wasn't about to scare Jade away when I just saw her for the first time in weeks.

"Well why are you here? And don't say to see me. Tell me the truth."

"I did want to see you."

"Seriously?" She raise her eyebrow and tapped her foot.

"I'm going crazy without you, okay? I don't know why if I did almost kill you. It isn't like I did it on purpose. Something came over me and I didn't surface to reality when I should've."

"But you did surface." We didn't say anything. "Did you want to ask me something?"

I frustratingly sighed and ran my hands through my hair. "Jade I told you I honestly did just want to see you."

"Are you even fucking kidding me right now?" I didn't respond. "You just came to see me and then leave?"

"I don't know, I needed to see you. If you're feeling this way I'll just leave. Good bye, Jade." I began to shake as I walked to the door. Jade didn't stop me from opening the door and walking away.

Everything in me began to feel like ice. This never happened to me. Usually I felt like fire but this time it was ice. I unlocked my car and sat down feeling broken and unfix-able.

See? You fucked everything up.

"I know. Just shut up."

Before I had the time to think, the door opened and Jade jumped on me. Her lips attacked mine and she tried to hug me. The kiss was heated and very much needed for both of us. She pulled my face into hers with heavy forces. It was like she wanted to make sure I didn't slip through the crevices of her fingers as she kissed me. Instantly I responded to her wishes and fought back with my lips just as hard and passionately.
