Waiting rooms are used as a sort of in-between area, especially when a shifter is unsure of the desired reality they'd like to shift to. In some cases, being indecisive of where to shift can cloud your minds eye of the "end goal" which is ultimately to shift. With waiting room, you're able to at least shift somewhere and then you'll have the opportunity to definitively decide which DR you're aiming for and shift to that reality from your WR.
Waiting rooms are just like desired realities! They can be scripted any way that you may please. Personally, I have a few WRs. One is a secluded cottage in the woods that puts me in a peaceful and calm state. Another one is outdoors with a winter vibe. Waiting rooms can ultimately range from one vibe to another. Similar to scripting your desired realities, waiting rooms have no limits.
