Clones are quite the topic within the shifting community. Some people believe in them and others don't, this is attributed to the different shifting theories that people believe in. I personally don't have much experience with my clone due to the fact that I utilize sleep methods and I always shift back to my original reality before it is time for me to start my day. Some people do wake before they are back in their OR though, which is where clones then come in to play.
Think of clones like this: what is your desired reality self doing currently? They could be cleaning the house, attending classes, perhaps going on a date. Whatever you are doing in another reality currently, you aren't aware of it. So, vice versa. When you have shifted to your DR and are aware of that reality, you have no idea what is going on in your original reality. That doesn't mean that you are frozen in time until you shift back. Your clone is still a part of you. It is an extension of your consciousness, just as your DR self is.
Some people worry that their clones will do outrageous things while you are away, that isn't true. They aren't very apt to doing something you wouldn't do. After all, they are you! It's an odd concept that takes some getting used to, but that doesn't mean you should worry.
I've heard a few shifters state that you can leave your clone instruction for what to do while you are away. I'm not entirely sure if these tasks will actually get done or not, I have no experience with it, but I should mention that as well.
In conclusion of the topic concerning clones, a lot of shifters believe in them and lots do not. Ultimately it is up to you to determine the validity of these claims and to experience this for yourself!
