HARRY'S POV (continuation)
Ellen got into her job as soon as the camera started rolling.
"Good morning everyone, I'm Ellen and today I'm hosting the Ellen DeGeneres show with ONE DIRECTION! Yes guys, you all heard me absolutely correctly. One direction is back from their hiatus. So let's welcome them back!
Hello boys! How are y'all?"
"Good morning" We all said in unison, smiling and waving at the camera.
"We are good, how are you Ellen?" I asked.
"Since y'all are back, I'm feeling really good. So, as this is y'all's first interview as a band after hiatus and I have to ask that how does it feel to be back in the band; I mean, how is this different from your solo careers?"
After a few seconds of silence, 'Daddy direction' jumped into action. "Uhm, it feels really great you know, to be back with the boys after so many years. I mean, we've kept in touch with each other all these years but the thought of to be able to sing or write songs together again, itself brings thrill to my body and I know, rest of the boys feel the same way." We all nodded in agreement.
"Of course we all enjoy our solo careers but this, is something that can't be expressed in words. This reunion gives me nostalgia. It reminds me of the time when we were first put together in band. We were so young back then. Believe me it was the most beautiful time of my life." Niall stated before taking a sip of his coffee.
"Aw, that's cute." Ellen gushed. "So Niall, do you remember that during hiatus, you did an interview with me?"
"Yeah I remember really well. What about it?" Niall sounded genuinely curious.
Ignoring Niall's question, Ellen turned towards us with a smug look. "So guys, I'm gonna show you a video clip. Ready?"
We all nodded and turned towards the screen.
Once the video stopped, we all (excluding Louis, he just had a ghost of smile on his lips) burst out laughing. Turning towards Niall, I found him busy hiding his face behind Liam's shoulder.
"I can't believe you just showed my bestmates the most embarrassing video of mine Ellen. I hate you right now." Niall mumbled, red from embarrassment.
"Aw Ni, no matter how much of an idiot you are, we still love you." Zayn exclaimed pinching his cheek, earning appreciative nods from each of us.
"Okay so coming to you Harry, what did you do during hiatus?" Ellen asked after taking a sip from her coffee.
I straightened my posture before putting my coffee mug down on the table and started speaking.
"Um well as you know, I've released two albums during the hiatus and arranged a world tour called 'Live on tour', which was a great success. Other than that, I've worked in a movie called 'Dunkirk', which was a pretty awesome experience if you ask me. I've also modelled for Gucci and a few other magazines, so... Yeah that's it. Oh and currently, I'm working on new songs."
"So Harry, can I ask you what your song 'Two ghosts' is about?" Ellen asked me with a slight hint of smirk on her face.
I froze! Everyone knows that the song is about me and Louis. Why did she have to ask this. I really don't like Ellen at this moment.
Turning to look at Louis, I found him having an unreadable expression on his face. Maybe, he hadn't listened to my songs; of course he didn't. Why would he listen to his ex's songs! What was I thinking? Thank god.
