As promised, Nick dropped Harry off to his hotel by 4:00 and Harry rushed to his room to change. After freshening up a bit, he went down at the reception to find his bandmates waiting for him, along with Paul.

"I'm ready, Let's go guys." Harry exclaimed. Nodding, the rest of the boys followed him.

This time, Liam jumped at the passenger seat, sparing a smug glance at Louis, to which Louis glared, but wordlessly chose the window seat at the extreme back. Not so long after, Harry and Niall took their seats beside him, allowing Zayn and Paul to take the middle seats. Louis wanted to kill Liam for forcing him to sit beside someone he's trying to avoid. Rather, he just leaned against the window and stared outside blankly.

The ride was filled with light chatter and banters without Louis' participation; not that anyone noticed but it still pained Louis to think of the days where he was the life of the band; he was the one to make others laugh the most and he was the one to keep everyone away from their disappointments. Right now, as everything has changed, he couldn't help but feel himself to be the disappointment.

Simon's office wasn't really far away. But the problem was, Paps were crowding near the building. As soon as their car stopped, they surrounded it and started throwing questions like madmen.

Paul, being the responsible bodyguard quickly got out and shouted at the paps to give them space. Some of them backed off but most of them didn't. All the boys cursed under breath for not bringing more protection.

They somehow managed to get out of the car without getting supressed under all the people surrounding them and gawking at them.

As they were about to proceed towards the building with difficulty, Harry felt an extremely tight grip on his forearm that nearly yanked him away from his group.
Searching for the person who was gripping his hand like that, he was faced with a journalist who was smirking at him. Harry paled instantly. The face was rather popular. He was one of the few journalist who was homophobic and wrote shit about celebrities who were not straight.

"Harry Styles I see. Aren't you ashamed of yourself? Well you should be. You know why? Caz you are a faggot. You are a disgrace to our society. You should kill yourself; actually you need to kill yourself. You-" Everyone's eyes widen as the journalist fell onto ground, clutching his face that was punched with immense force. In fact, even Paul was startled at the sudden action. Turning towards the person who punched the journalist, everyone found Louis crouched down in front of him with a dangerously calm expression, gripping the man's hair tightly with one hand, forcing him to look up at him. By then, blood started flowing through the journalist's broken nose and busted lips. If looks could kill, the journalist would have been dead a thousand times by then.

"Do not forget where you belong or I would not think twice before murdering you, you homophobic piece of shit. Now apologise." Louis exclaimed. The lack of warmth and hospitality in his voice sent chills down everyone's spines.

When the journalist didn't respond for a good few seconds, Louis yanked his hair really hard; just in the way he yanked Harry's hand a few moments before, until he cried out in pain.
"I. said. apologise." Louis repeated, emphasising each word in a deadly low voice.

"I-I'm sorry Mr. S-Styles f-for calling you names. It w-won't happen again. I-I'm sorry." He was close to crying in pain by then.

"There you go." Louis said before getting up and dusting his hands as if he has touched the dirtiest thing in the world.

"What? Is there any kind of show going on here? Just get back to your jobs people. You'll get to know what you should know in a few days." He said, glancing at the mob of paps who were watching him with shocked and scared expressions. They scurried away as soon as Louis finished.

"Come on, let's go." Louis said in a bored tone.

Too stunned to talk, all the boys followed him inside the building wordlessly, followed by Paul, who was equally shocked but rather content, finding out that no matter how much Louis has changed, he will always stand up for his friends, especially, 'his Hazza'.
