(Y/n) just wanted to go home

(Y/n) just wanted to go home. As much as he wanted to, he couldn't. A few minutes back, the teacher had asked him to stay after school to assist in filling in some papers, and as student council president, he couldn't say no.

He honestly just wanted to see his little siblings again. He never spent that much time with them. They played games together from time to time, but (Y/n) was usually busy with his classwork and student council duties. So, he hired a babysitter. This way, Akira and Akane wouldn't be so lonely anymore.

"Sorry for holding you up, Satsuki. I'll make sure to pay you extra when I get home." "Don't worry about it! I enjoy babysitting Akira and Akane! They're the cutest things ever."  "Alright. I'll try to be back in a few hours? Perhaps two or three."

Saying goodbye on the phone, he quickly got to filling out the sheets of paper, and making casual talk with the teacher.

---------------------------------------

The sun had started setting, and (Y/n) was finally done. "I apologize for keeping you after school, (Y/n). Get home safely, and thank you for your help." The teacher bid him goodbye before leaving.

Packing his bag, he exited the room to see his friend outside waiting. "Oh, Takashi. You haven't gone home yet?" "Ah no, I had some stuff left to do at my club room."

That was partly a lie. Mitsuya did have some remaining work, but he had finished long ago. He was really just waiting for (Y/n). Not to mention watching him while (Y/n) spoke with the teacher.

"I see. Well, wanna go home together?" (Y/n) asked with his smile. Oh, that smile. Mitsuya absolutely cherished that smile. Not like the forced ones he gave to teachers, or to his multiple admirers, but a genuine smile.

Mitsuya realized a long time ago that (Y/n) had only really smiled when it came to him or his siblings. He felt special, knowing he was one of the only ones who saw (Y/n)'s genuine smile.

The two exited the school, talking among themselves as they slowly walked home.

"How have you been? We haven't been able to speak properly in a while." "Tiring. Dealing with student council work and school work at the same time is a pain. Oh, you won't believe what happened to me yesterday-" (Y/n) then began to ramble on about the incident with the three blondes.

Mitsuya, of course, paid full attention to what (Y/n) was saying. He found it cute how (Y/n) became talkative with him. Though, he began becoming more and more curious as (Y/n) spoke.

"I overheard one of their names from the crowd. I think it was something like...Mikey? Mickey? One of those two." Mitsuya was now mentally panicking. 'Of all people, (Y/n) ran into Mikey...'

"Oh? What happened after that?" "He tried kicking me! The nerve of that short blondie. I didn't get hit but damn, I was honestly kinda scared- Oh wait we're at your house."

Mitsuya slightly frowned. He was hoping he could be with (Y/n) a little longer. "Oh, yeah we are." The two of them awkwardly stood before Mitsuya cleared his throat. "Well, it was nice talking to you after a while, (Y/n). I'll see you tomorrow." He was about to turn around when the black haired boy opened his arms, making Mitsuya confused.

(Y/n)'s head turned to the side, with his cheeks slightly red. "Give me my damn hug." Mitsuya had turned red as well, before hugging (Y/n) tightly. 'He feels so warm and comforting...'

"Don't think I didn't see your little frown after I said we made it to your house. We can hang out this weekend, alright Takashi? <3" Nodding, the two said their final goodbyes before (Y/n) began heading to his own house.

---------------------------------------

(Y/n) thought nothing else would happen on his way back, but no. He had bought a strawberry milk carton before spotting a small crowd of men around a blonde girl.

"Hey girlie! Why don't you come with us?" "I already said no." "Oh c'mon! You're probably just shy!" "I said no!" One of the men had forcefully grabbed the female's wrists. Okay, that really pissed (Y/n) off.

With a ticked off expression, he walked up to one of the men and tapped their shoulders. With that man turned around, he was met with (Y/n)'s foot as the man was sent to the ground.

"Huh?! Who's this kid?!" (Y/n) sent a glare at all the men before attempting to go to the girl. All the men had suddenly blocked her from his view. "Move." "Oh? And what's a scrawny kid like you going to do-"

Less than a minute later, those men were all now unconscious bleeding from their noses. Dusting off his shoes, he turned to the girl in front of him and helped her up.

"You alright?" "Y-Yes! Thank you very much!" The girl bowed, with (Y/n) feeling slightly awkward.

"No need to bow...Say, what are you doing outside at this time? It's beginning to get dark." "Just some last minute grocery shopping for my brother."

Giving a simple nod, (Y/n) looked at the time before panicking. "Shit I have to go. It was meeting you.....Um, I didn't get your name."

"Emma! Emma Sano. You?" "(Y/n) (L/n). Be careful now, Emma." Waving goodbye, (Y/n) quickly began rushing back home, with Emma staring at the back of his head.

"I hope we get to see each other again, (Y/n)."
