Emmett's Daughter

Chapter 2

        I was in charge of moving all the logs to the alter for seating with dad. Him and I walked out into the forest to look for logs. I found one and was about to pick it up, when my dad stopped me. "Hold on squirt! You think you can handle  carrying that all by yourself?" he asked. Really he doubted my strength? I mean I know I don't look strong, but still. "Yes dad I can handle it," I said. I then picked it up, and started walking to the house. My dad grabbed another, and joined me. The wedding was tomorrow, and our house was packed with vampires. I was introduced to many of them, all of them were shocked to find out I was Emmett's biological daughter. All of them excepted me tho.

        Finally, it was the day of the wedding. I was upstairs with Alice and mom helping Bella get ready. I was already in my dress, which was a blush pink with matching shoes and a pair of earrings that mom let me borrow. "Alice! Bella!" I heard someone call. "That's Bella's mom, when she asks tell her that Carlisle and Esme adopted you." Alice said. I nodded. When her mom entered the room, she said hi to everyone. "Who are you? Bella never mention you," she said. "I'm Zoella Cullen, Esme and Carlisle adopted me a few weeks back," I said. After we were done helping Bella, we walked down stairs to take a seat. I sat between my mom and dad. When the ceremony was over, everyone was talking and having a good time. I felt a little left out. I was sitting at a table, when a boy came up to me. "Hi, I'm Seth Clearwater. Why are you sitting at a table all by yourself?" he asked. "Hi, I'm Zoella Cullen, it's nice to meet you."I said looking up. When I did our eyes met, and he looked at me like he had just saw the sun for the first time. It was odd, because I felt a pull towards him. I didn't feel that way towards anyone else. He shook his head like he was shaking it out of a daze. "So your a Cullen? No offence, but you don't smell like one," he said. "I'm a half vampire, so I still have a heart beat, blood running threw my vein, and I can eat human foods," I said. He nodded his head. "I'm a shapeshifter from the pack across the treaty line, but I'm friends with Bella so they let me come see the wedding," he said. I nodded. Before I could say anything else, mom was by my side. "Zoella! What are you doing talking to this mutt?" she asked. A growl came from with in me. "Don't call him that! He is my friend. Just because you don't like the pack doesn't mean that I have to dislike them," I said. Seth looked shocked that I stood up to her. I know how she can get sometimes, I guess he has never seen someone stand up to her. She looked at him, almost studying him. Then a look of shock spread across her face. "You didn't" she said. Seth looked kind of scared, but nodded his head yes. I was completely, and utterly confused. Mom stormed off, and soon after Billy Black came and told Seth it was time to go home. Before he could leave I gave him my cell phone number, so we could keep in contact. He waved bye, and ran off following Billy.
