Sherlock and John sat down at a table. awkward silence and secret glances where shared between the two before john spoke up.
"So... what have you been up to?"John asked, trying to make small talk.
"Iv went on a date well numerous dates with the same person that is"sherlock piped up, a small smile on his face.
"What?"is all John could stutter out.
"a date I'm sure you of all people know what that word means John"Sherlock replied blandly.
"Yes sherlock I know what it means I guess I'm just...surprised I mean youv never shown romantic interest yo anyone" John stated, his heart felt like it had been shattered. It was stupid he knows that he has mary, but thers somthing about sherlock what makes his heart beat 10 times faster or even his pupils dilate.
"I guess I'm full of surprises" sherlock joked.
"Hmm i guess so" John started "Who's the lucky lady?"
Sherlock gave john a mysterious look"his name is Sebastian, Sebastian Moron"
"His? Your-" John said before he was cut of.
"Yes john"sherlock replied camly.
"Right well I'm happy for you two then"john replied quietly
Sherlock looked up at John questiontly,"is everything OK John?"
"N-yes everything's fine why?"John tried to sound convincing, even after his almost slip up at the beginning.
Sherlock stared at John intensly for a few seconds. causing john to swallow hard, he felt like all the air was trapped from his lungs.
"Ok"Sherlock said not convcie, but not wanting to push the doctor any further.leaving them both once again sat in completely awkward silence.
After a few minutes the awkward silence disappeared and the two men were laughing about old memories. In that momment of time it felt like nothing had changed, that they was the young men they once yoused to be until the angelos door bell rang.
"Sherlock?" A blond haird man exclaimed, walking over to the table. he was about the same age as john, and was wearing a brown leather jacket with denim jeans.
"Diddnt expect to see you here" He lied, he knew he was here after all he was keeping a look out for moriaty.
"Sebastian"sherlock smiled lightly
John looked at the man. He had a goate covering his top lip, sherlock dosnt even like beards john thought to himself feeling quite jealous.
Sebastian stole a glance at john, putting on his fake smile and putting out a hand "hi you must be john watson iv heard alot about you"Sebastian spoke in quit a charming way.
John shook his hand lazily trying nit be rude"uh yeah you to"John nearly hissed
Sebastian sensed the jealously starlight away and smirked alot before leaving in and whispering to john "jealous are we? Don't worry he's quit a catch I don't blame you" Sebastian smirked before standing back up to face sherlock.
John went red and started at Sebastian with wide eyes.
Sherlock was confused, not quite sure what was going on between the two of them. He went to speak but Sebastian beat him to it.
"I'll leave you boys to your catch up but are we still on for tomorrow sherlock" Sebastian"sherlock smiled staring at sherlock innocently
"Shit I'm sorry there's this big case at Scottland yard I'll probably be busy all day"sherlock apologised.
"That's fine how about I come round to yours for the night tomorrow instead if you understand" He winked at sherlock and smiled. He needed sherlock to agree,he wanst planning on making it to sherlocks door well not alone anyway.
Sherlock stiffend it wouldn't take a genius to know he was uncomfortable "probably not the best idea I uhmm need alot of thinking time after a case and-"
"Oh come on" Sebastian pleaded in a playfull tone
"I uhhm uh"sherlock splutterd
"Please for me?"Sebastian stated trying his best to stay friendly, god moriaty could of warned him that he freaked out over this shit.
"He said no mate let's leave it at that" John stood up, shooting daggers at the man in front of him oh if only looks could kill.
"Ok my bad see you around sherlock?" Sebastian questiond, it looked like he was going to have to do this to hard way.
"Uh yeah sure"sherock replied, trying to make out his attention was on somthing else.
"Ok bye" He said smiling every so slight at sherlock
A hum is all that could be heard in replace from the consulting detective.
And with that Sebastian walked out the restaurant, and into a black tinted car which was heading to a certain hospital.
